田愚(1841~1922)는 19세기 외세의 침략 앞에 꺼져가는 조국의 운명과 무너져가는 도학적 질서를 지켜야만 했던 당대 최고의 도학자로서 간재는 도통을 계승하고 후학을 양성하는 책무를 담당하는 것으로 사명을 삼고자 하였다. 그간의 연구 대부분이 性理學을 照明한 것인 반면 문학에 대해서는 많은 시문과 산문 등이 있음에도 불구하고, 연구가 되지 않아 문학성이 드러나지 않았다. 간재의 문인 玄谷 柳永善(1893~1960)의 『玄谷集』을 보던 중 「臼山先生風雅跋」이 수록되어 있는 것에 착안하여 간재의 다른 시문집이 존재할 것으로 생각하였다. 그 후 시문집을 찾으려고 노력하던 중 충남대학교 도서관에 소장 되어 있는 것을 확인하였다. 원래 간재의 시문은 『艮齋集』, 『秋潭別集』, 『臼山先生風雅』 등에 수록되어있다. 『艮齋集』에 수록된 시는 271수이고, 『秋潭別集』에 수록된 시는 17수이며 『臼山先生風雅』에 수록된 시는 모두 419수이다. 그 중 『艮齋集』에만 수록되어 있는 시는 98수이고, 또한 『추담별집』에만 수록되어 있은 시는 1수이다. 따라서 중복되는 시를 제외하면 현존하는 간재의 시는 총 518수이다. 본고는 『艮齋集』과 『추담별집』에 수록되지 않은 많은 시를 담고 있는 『구산선생풍아』의 시를 함께 정리하여 간재 시작품의 내용을 파악하고자 한다. ``『구산선생풍아』의 체제 및 형식``과 ``『구산선생풍아』의 내용``으로 정리하면 간재의 시작품의 전모를 파악할 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 『구산선생풍아』를 발굴 소개하며, 아직도 미약한 구한말 일제강점기의 한문적 실상의 파악과 더 나아가 근현대 한시사 연구에 일조 하고자 한다.

Jeon-Woo(1841~1922) is a neo-Confucian, whose nickname is JaHyeong, GanJae(a pen name), GusSan and ChuDam. His family origin is DamYang. As one of the greatest scholar in his day, he had to protect his declining nation from the invasion of foreign powers in the late of nineteen century and adhered to the order of the falling moral philosophy. He thought it was his mission to succeed to the moral tradition and take the responsibility of fostering the younger generation. Until now, almost all the researches have mainly focused on his neo-Confucianism, so his literary value hasn`t been researched and revealed in spite of his a lot of prose and poetry. I thought that there must be other anthologies of poetry containing his poems as I had noticed 「GuSan- SeonSaeng-PungaA」in 「HyunGokJip」 written by HyunGok Yu Young-Sun (1893~1960), one of his followers. While I had tried to find the materials since then, I checked that ChungNam National University Library has them. 「Gan- JaeJip」, 「ChuDamJip」, and 「GuSan-SeonSaeng-PungaA」contain Gan- Jae`s prose and poetry. 「GanJaeJip」has271 poems, 「ChuDamByeolJip」has 17, and 「Gu San-SeonSaeng-PungaA」has 419. Among them, 98 poems are only found in GanJaeJip」and only one poem in 「ChuDamByeolJip」. Therefore, the total number of his poems are 518 currently, excluding the overlapping poems. This study focuses on organizing and analyzing poems in 「GuSan- SeonSaeng-PungaA」which has a lot of GanJae`s poems that don`t show up in 「GanJaeJip」and「ChuDamByeolJip」. Also I can find out the outline of GanJae`s poems if we divide 「GuSan-SeonSaeng-PungaA」into its structure and form, and its contents. Discovering and introducing 「GuSan-SeonSaeng -PungaA」, I hope that this study can contribute to further studies on contemporary Korean Chinese poems and understanding the truth that how it was exactly during Japanese Ruling Era of Korea.
