이 글에서는 댈리의 생태공동체론을 그의 보장소득론을 중심으로 비판적으로 탐구한다. 그는 생태친화적 사회경제의 형성이라는 문제의식 아래 인문사회과학에서의 ``과학혁명``을 기획하며, 그 결과를 공동체경제를 포괄하는 생태공동체라는 새로운 정치적 비전으로 통합한다. 또한 생태공동체의 형성을 위해 공동체 성원의 생존을 충분히 보장하는 소득, 곧 보장소득의 실시를 요청한다. 물론 그의 기획은 고유한 한계와 문제점을 보유한다. 이 글에서는 이러한 한계와 문제점의 가장 근본적인 원인의 하나로 그의 과학혁명이 기초하는 철학적 전제들의 양가성(ambivalence)을 제시한다. 또한 이러한 양가성을 극복하고 그가 시도하는 과학혁명을 일관되게 전개하여, 생태코뮌주의 및 생태코뮌주의적 기본소득론에 대한 새로운 전망을 창출한다.

This article studies critically on the theory of the ecological community and the guaranteed income of Daly. He attempts a scientific revolution under the perspective on the formation of a ecological socio-economy, and he presents a new vision of a ecological economy and society as the result. Futhermore calls he on the implementation of guaranteed income for his ecological society. But his theory shows at the same time problems. As one of the principal causes of this problems presents this article the ambivalence of the philosophical premises of his theory. Through the conquest this ambivalence and the coherent development of his scientific revolution presents this article a eco-communistic perspective of basic income theory.
