본 연구는 어린이집의 알림장 이용 현황, 인식 및 요구에 대한 교사와 부모의 현황 및 이들간의 차이를 살펴봄으로써 가정과 기관의 효율적인 의사소통의 기초자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기 지역 어린이집에서 근무하는 교사 176명과 부모 165명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 부모는 주로 건강과 안전에 대한 내용을, 교사는 어린이집에서의 생활에 대한 내용으로 작성하는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 부모보다는 교사 더 긴 시간을 들여 많은 분량의 알림장을 더욱 빈번하게 작성하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 ``인식``에 있어 부모들은 교사에 비해 알림장에 만족하고 도움이 되며, 크게 어려움이 없다고 응답한 반면, 교사들은 부모에 비해 효과나 만족도는 낮으며 어려움은 큰 것으로 응답하여 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 마지막으로 ``요구``에 있어서 부모와 교사는 빈도와 분량에서는 동일한 요구를 보였으나 교사들은 별도의 알림장 작성시간확보와 업무경감의 요구를 보인 반면 부모들은 교사가 자녀에 대해 관심을 갖고 관찰해줄 것을 요구하여 차이를 보였다.

With the purpose of suggesting basic data for efficient communication at home and in educational institutes, this study investigated the current trends and the differences between teacher and parents knowledge and understanding of the demand for the use of class notes in childcare centers. 176 teachers who work at childcare centers and 165 parents in Seoul and the Gyeonggi area were surveyed. The results of this study indicated that parents were more concerned with health and safety issues, whilst teachers focused on life in a childcare center. Moreover, teachers spend more time writing class notes than parents. Also on ``understanding``, the parents claimed that they were satisfied with class notes and that they regard them as helpful, but the teachers responded that they experienced lower satisfaction, difficulties and were skeptical about the effect of class notes, representing a significant difference between the two groups. Finally, on the subject of ``demand``, the parents and teachers showed equal demand on frequency and amount. However, the teachers asked for a separate time for writing class notes and a lower workload, while the parents asked for more attention and care for their children.
