이 연구는 학습자가 소설을 삶의 문학으로 수용하면서 소설 작품과 사회적, 문화적인 소통을 하고 소설 신문을 구성하는 텍스트를 생산하면서 새로운 독서 문화를 창조하는 과정을 실제 교수-학습 활동을 통해 제시한다. 소설 신문의 텍스트는 학습자가 삶을 보는 가치관에 따라서 능동적으로 해석한 소설 감상의 자료가 된다. 이를 학습자의 창의적 사고 혹은 비판적 사고에서 창조된 문화 텍스트로 보았다. 학습자는 소설을 이해의 차원에서만 경험하지 않고 소설 속의 허구적 세상과 학습자 자신이 살아가는 현실적 세상과의 차이를 파악한 후 이를 새로운 텍스트로 창조하여 독서 문화를 구성하는 과정을 경험한다. 이 과정을 통한 문화적 차원의 언어적 실천은 학습자와 소설 텍스트 간의 능동적인 소통을 통해서야만 성립될 수 있다. 따라서 소설 신문 텍스트는 학습자의 문학적 삶이 재창조된 문화적 텍스트가 될 수 있으며 학습자 스스로 소설의 내용을 비평하고 내면화하면서 삶을 이해하는 소설교육이 되도록 하는데 핵심을 둔다.

This study presents an actual process of teaching-learning activity on the process of having social and cultural communication with novel works along with creating a new reading culture by producing the texts that construct novel newspapers as a learner accepts novels as literature of life. The texts of novel newspapers become a material of novel appreciation that a learner has actively interpreted according to the values toward looking at life. These are cultural texts created from creative thinking or critical thinking of a learner. A learner creating into new texts after identifying the difference between the fabricated world inside a novel and the world of reality where the learner is living in without experiencing the novel at the dimension of understanding is the process which makes up the reading culture. The linguistic practice of cultural dimension through this process can only be established through an active communication between a learner and the novel texts. Therefore, the novel newspaper texts can become cultural texts in which the literary life of a learner has been recreated and sets the emphasis on becoming a novel education of understanding life as a learner criticizes and internalizes the contents of novel by oneself.
