본 연구에서는 대학생들의 전공 영역에서 필요한 쓰기의 특성을 살펴보기 위한 목적으로 대학의 전공 쓰기 과제를 분석해 보았다. 6개 대학의 7개 계열에 해당하는 학과의 강의계획서를 수집하였고, 여기서 교수자가 제시한 요건들을 토대로 쓰기 과제의 특성을 분석하였다. 분석의 결과, ``과제에 대한 추가 정보 없음``, ``인지적 전략``, ``쓰기와 관련한 수행``, ``글의 내용 강화의 방법``, ``매체`` 부문의 특성들이 발견되었다. 또한 각 계열별로 쓰기에서 중시하는 내용 및 장르가 상이함을 확인할 수 있었다. 전공 쓰기 과제가 지닌 특성에 비추어 대학 학습의 실체를 이해하고 학생들의 전공 쓰기 수행을 도울 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

This study analysed writing tasks for classes in college students`` majors with the aim of investigating the traits of writing in college students`` major field of study. Class syllabuses from majors in seven departments of each six universities were gathered and the traits of writing tasks were analysed on the basis of requirements lecturers suggested. As a result of analysis, the traits of writing tasks were categorized into ``no more information about tasks``, ``cognitive strategies``, ``performances related with writing``, ``method to support the contents of papers`` and ``media``. And the critical contents and genres each departments emphasize were different. Grounded on the traits of the writing tasks for classes in students`` majors, we need to understand the substance of Learning in colleges and to search for solutions to help learners`` major area writing.
