이 글은 황진이의 시조 「어져 내일이야 …」에 나타난 세 종류의 중의, 이 중의들에 의해 생성되는 여덟 텍스트와 네 양가적 자기갈등의 연정 등을 검토한 다음에, 유희공간에서 이 작품이 보이는 세 기능을 살폈다. 세 종류의 중의는 `제`의 어휘상의 동음이의, `몰라`의 어휘상의 다의, "그릴 줄을 모로□냐"의 문법상의 동음이의(1), "가랴마□ 제 구□야 보내고"의 문법상의 동음이의(2) 등이다. 이 네 중의들은 서로 결합하여 여덟 텍스트들을 생성하며, 그 중의 텍스트1·2와 텍스트3·4는 각각 임을 보내고 그리는 자기모순적인 자신의 정에 대해, 텍스트5·6과 텍스트7·8은 각각 나를 보내고 그리는 자기모순적인 임의 정에 대해, 감성적으로 체념하지 못하는 동시에 이성적으로 체념하는 네 종류의 양가적 자기갈등의 연정을 보여준다. 이 네 중의들, 생략, 여덟 텍스트들 등의 표현적 측면과, 네 종류의 양가적 자기갈등의 연정이라는 주제적 측면은 이 작품이 연정시조로 보이는 우수한 작품성이다. 그리고 초장의 질문과 이에 대한 중장과 종장의 대답이 결합된 문답의 구조를 보여주며, 이 문답의 구조와 이에 포함된 생략들은 시적청자들에게 호기심과 궁금증을 불러일으키면서 시적청자들을 수작의 대상으로 끌어들이며, 네 텍스트들(1·3·5·7)은 각각 그리고 함께 유희공간의 시적청자들에게 과거 이별의 정황에 맞는 부류별 수작을 하는 수작의 기능을 하고, 네 텍스트들(2·4·6·8)은 각각 그리고 함께 시적화자가 자기를 보호하는 두 종류의 자기보호의 기능을 한다. 이 수작의 기능과 두 종류의 자기보호의 기능은 연정시조인 이 작품이 유희공간에서 연정의 범위를 넘어서 수작시조로 가지는 이 작품의 특성과 우수성이기도 하다.

This treatise looked upon the Sijo(Eo-jyeo Nay-il-i-ya …) written by Hwang Jin-I. The result follows as; 1. `je(제)` in the second line("garyamanen je gutaiya") is lexical homonymy, `molla(몰라)` in the third line("bonaigo geurinen jeongeun nado molla hanora") is lexical polysemy, and the first line("geuril jul moreudeonga") and the second - third line("garyamanen je gutaiya bonaigo") are each grammatical homonymy. 2. This Sijo product eight text by the combination of the four ambiguity above. 3. Eight text(1-8) do each have the ardent love of the self-conflict between to do give up reasonly and to do not give up sensitively. 4. This Sijo have the structure of question and answer. 5. This structure of question and answer and ellipses in this Sijo cause poetic hearers to have a curiosity and a question about the man who is loved by the poetic speaker. 6. This Sijo does not show feeling of the self-conflict between to do can send and to do can not send, but does show four feeling of the self-contradiction which was caused by the send in reason and the attachment in sensitivity. 7. Four text(1·3·5·7) have the function of temptation through the content that poetic speaker or lover does not understanding the feeling of the self-contradiction which was caused by the send in reason and the attachment in sensitivity. 8. Four text(2·4·6·8) have the function of self-defense through the content that poetic speaker does not have a interest to the feeling of the self-contradiction which was caused by the send in reason and the attachment in sensitivity.
