헤겔에게 ``좋은 삶``이란 무엇인가를 해명하는 문제는 그의 ``인륜성``개념을 어떻게 해석할 것인가의 문제라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 헤겔의 ``인륜성`` 개념에 대한 재구성을 통해 현대의 인정이론이 제시하는 ``좋은 삶``의규범적 기준들과 구성 원리를 비판적으로 살펴보고 현대 사회에도 여전히 유효한 ``좋은 삶``의 규범적 내용과 조건을 해명하는데 있다. 특히 본 논문은 헤겔의 인륜성 개념을 대칭적인 상호성에 기초한 인정의 원리를 통해 재구성하고 있는 호네트의 헤겔해석을 비판적으로 검토하면서 이를 보충할 수있는 대안을 헤겔이 발전시킨 ``공동체성``의 이념을 통해 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해 헤겔에 있어 상호성에 기초한 인정의 원리는 인륜성을 구성하는 부분원리는 될 수 있지만 인륜성의 본질을 구성하는 유일한 원리가 아님을 해명하고자 한다. 이상의 논의에 기초하여 본 논문은 헤겔의 인륜성 개념을 상호성의 원리와 공동체성의 이념이 조화롭게 결합된 하나의 사회이론 모델로 제시하고자 한다.

Hegel materialized the question of what a "good life" is through this concept of "Sittlichkeit(ethical life)". From this aspect, the problem in explaining what a good life then rests on the problem of how to interpret Hegel`s concept of Sittlichkeit. The purpose of this paper is to reinterpret Hegel`s concept of "Sittlichkeit" through his concept of recognition and communalism and elucidate the social-political conditions of the good life Hegel explored. There are two elements which this paper wishes to make into topic in order to do this. One is the intersubjective condition essential to self-realization of the individual; the other is the communal factors which can supplement this intersubjective factor. Through this, this paper will reconfigure Hegel`s Sittlichkeit concept through the principles of reciprocity and communalism.
