본 논문은 한국어 음식어휘장의 하위 분류 기준을 한국어 교육에 초점을 맞추어 재정립하고, 이를 한국어 어휘 교육에 활용하는 방안을 연구하였다. 2장에서는 한국어 음식 어휘의 학습 목록을 선정하기 위하여 한국어 교재를 분석하고, 시중에 나온 요리책과 갈래사전에서 학습의 필요성이 있는 것들을 보완하며, 외국인 학습자들의 인지도 설문조사 결과도 반영한다. 그리고 <현대국어 사용 빈도 조사 결과보고서>를 참고하여 어휘 목록을 선별하고, <한국어 학습용 어휘 선정 결과보고서>와 한국어 교사들의 검증을 거쳐서 학습 단계를 결정한다. 3장에서는 음식어휘장의 세부적인 유형 분류 기준을 마련하고 이를 활용한 학습 내용을 구축한다. 4장에서는 학습 단계별 특징에 따른 학습 방법을 제시한다.

This paper aims to reestablish the criteria of the sub-categories in food lexical field, focusing on Korean language education and then examine the methods that can be utilized as Korean language vocabulary and cultural education materials for foreigners. In chapter 2, this study presents the process of developing vocabulary lists. First, it analyzes Korean food vocabularies presented on the Korean language textbooks and improves contents that is inadequate using cookbooks and dictionaries. It also reflects the result of the survey of foreign learners` recognition of Korean food vocabulary. Second, it draws out high frequency words that are currently being used through . It develops the Korean food vocabulary lists after checking the learning stage of each word with reference to the learning stages of . In chapter 3, it classifies the category of Korean food vocabulary into greater detail and presents practical and authentic contents of the course according to criteria. In chapter 4, it suggests several effective learning methods by characteristics of each learning stage.
