이 연구는 외솔 최현배의 초기 문법의 명사·대명사·수사 체계 정립 과정을 연세대학교 학술정보원과 박물관에서 소장하고 있는 『우리말본』의 여러 유인본 중 세 가지를 살펴봄으로써 밝히고자 한다. 한편, 이들 유인본은 출판된 형태의 책자가 아니고, 이름 그대로 등사하여 제본한 것으로, 그 저작 년도를 정확히 알 수 없는데 저작 시기를 가늠할 수 있는 단서를 찾아봄으로써, 『우리말본』의 문법체계가 언제부터 어떤 과정을 거쳐 정립되었는지는 살펴볼 수 있다. 특히, 이 글에서는 체언(명사·대명사·수사) 부분을 집중적으로 비교 분석하여 그 체계가 어떻게 변하였는지를 살펴보고 있는데 외솔의 문법체계가 언제부터 구상되어, 어떤 변화를 거쳐 『우리말본』으로 정립되었는지를 가늠해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this article is to find out the process of setting structures of ``noun``, ``pronoun`` and ``numeral``, which are all of ``Che-un``, from the early level of the Choe Hyeon bae`s Korean grammar, through studying three editions among various mimeograph editions of ``Urimalbon`` owned in Yonsei University Library and the Museum of Yonsei University. We are not able to know when these three mimeograph editions are made, because all these one are hand-transcripted versions, not pressed versions. However, on the other hand, this study also will allow to take a look closely on when and how ``Urimalbon`` grammar structures are processed and evolved by looking for clues for estimating the time of t writing work. Moreover, through aggressive studying to compare each part of ``Che-un(noun, pronoun, numeral)`` and examining structure change of the each part, we can find out the time of birth Choe Hyeon bae`s grammar structures and development of ``Urimalbon``.
