This paper is written for proving that Korean history education for overseas Korean should be systemized. Korean history education is statutory education, and has unique legal background. On the other hand, the level of textbook is just the copy of Korean history textbook used in middle school or high school. Moreover, there is no level of difficulty divided by ability of speaking and writing Korean. According to the survey to students, the half of them did not know about Korean history accurately, and had no interesting in it. However after finishing the whole course, they had the satisfaction about Korean history class. Although many politicians, researchers, and teachers agree with importance of overseas Korean and Korean history education for them, the infrastructure for it is still poor. The new paradigm of Korean history, development of Korean history textbook, educational methodology for overseas Korean, and specialist for educating Korean history are required.
