본고는 외래어가 국어 어휘로 수용되는 과정에서 보이는 문법적인 변화 현상들에 주목하여 이를 문법형태의 생략, 절단에 의한 삭감, 접두사의 단어화, 품사의 변화 등으로 나눠 고찰하였다. 문법 형태가 생략되는 경우로는 ``선글라스, 샐러리맨, 오픈 게임``과 같이 복수형이나 과거분사형, 동명사형 어미 등이 생략되는 예가 있다. 절단에 의해 원어의 형태가 삭감되는 경우는 ``아마←아마추어``처럼 단일어의 일부가 절단되는 예들과 ``셀프←셀프서비스``처럼 합성어의 일부가 절단되는 예가 있다. ``프론트``는 ``프론트 데스크``라는 구에서 뒤의 단어가 생략되는 예이다. ``미니, 안티, 멀티, 슈퍼, 세미``와 같은 영어의 접두사는 국어에 들어와 단어의 자격을 갖는다. 이러한 현상은 일종의 반문법화로 어휘적 형태가 문법적 형태로 변하는 문법화의 반대 양상을 보여 준다. 품사적 측면에서는 ``뉴, 올, 롱, 쇼트``와 같은 영어의 형용사가 국어에서 관형사적으로 사용되고, ``업, 다운``은 ``되다`` 등과 결합하여 동사로 사용된다.

This paper deals with the change of grammatical properties in the course of borrowing. Especially I investigate these changes in terms of ellipsis of grammatical forms, reduction by clipping, prefixes to words, word class changes. When the grammatical forms drop, usually plural forms, participial forms, gerundive forms got dropped. The reduction by clipping can be partitioned into three groups whether the part of single word is clipped, the part of compound word is clipped or back word of phrase is clipped. English prefixes such as ``mini, anti, multi, semi`` have acquired word status as a result of borrowing adaptations. This phenomenon is argued as antigrammaticalization which means a change from endpoint to starting point of potential grammaticalization. As for word class properties, English adjectives such as ``new, all, long, short`` are used as adnominals, and verb particles such as ``up, down`` are used as verbs with the help of light verbs ``toyta, sikhita``.
