본 연구는 사회적 지지가 진로결정수준과 학업적 자아효능감을 매개로 도립대학생의 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 구조적 관계를 분석하는데 목적이 있었다. 연구를 위해 2011년 10월 12일 부터 2011년 11월20일까지 전국 5개 도립대학에 재학 중인 학생 500명을 대상으로 조사를 실시한 결과, 447명의 자료가회수 되었으며(회수율93.8%), 회수된 자료 가운데 불성실하게 응답한 19명을 제외한 428명의 자료를 최종 분석에 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SAS 9.3 통계 패키지를 이용하여 서술적 통계와 설문측정항목의 신뢰도와 타당도를 분석하였으며, 모형의 적합도와 가설 검증은 AMOS 5.0을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형을 분석하였다. 조사를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 학업적 자아효능감과 사회적 지지 및 진로결정수준의 관계를 살펴본 결과 교수 지지,친구 지지와 진로결정수준은 학업적 자아효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 진로결정수준과 사회적 지지 간의 관계를 살펴보면 부모지지, 교수 지지 및 친구 지지는 모두 진로결정수준에 정적인 직접효과를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 진로결정수준과 학업적 자아효능감은 학업성취도에 정적인 영향을 미치고, 친구 지지는 학업성취도에 부적인 직접효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대학생의 사회적 지지 변인이 진로결정수준과 학업적 자아효능감을 매개로 하여 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는지를 검증한 결과, 부모 지지, 교수 지지, 친구 지지는 진로결정수준과 학업적자아효능감을 매개로 하여 유의한 간접효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과들을 바탕으로 도립대학생의 학업성취도 증진을 위한 진로설계와 학업적 과제 수행 지원활동의 필요성이 논의되었다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze a structural relations which occur when Social Support impacts on academic achievement of college student through the mediating variables of career decision level and academic self-efficacy. 500 students were sampled from 5 Provincial College and 93.8% of recovery ratio was shown from total 447 respondents among them. However, 435 answers, except for insincere answers, were used only for analysis. From data collected, descriptive statistics, Cronbach`s alpha and factor analysis were conducted using SAS 9.3 Statistical Package, and goodness of fit tests of models and hypothesis tests were conducted using AMOS 5.0 Statistical Package. The findings of the study were as follows. First, professor support, friend support and career decision level had effect on College Student`s Academic Self-Efficacy. Second, career decision level was affected by parent, teacher and friend support. Third, college student`s academic achievement was affected directly by career decision level and academic self-efficacy. Friend suppor had negative effects on academic achievement. Fourth, career decision level has an indirect effect as a medium, respectively between parent support, professor support, and academic self-efficacy, and between parent support, professor support, friend support, and student`s academic achievement.
