이 연구에서는 세 명의 초등 교사와 연구자 자신의 생애사를 국어 수업을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 제보자인 세 명의 초등 교사와 연구자는 국어 수업 경험과 관련하여 각기 독특한 교육생애사를 구성하고 있었다. 이 연구는 개인사 자기 연구의 차원에서 시도된 것이다. 개인이 겪는 교육경험의 역사는 자신의 세계를 해석하는 데 영향을 미치고, 어떻게 배우고 가르칠 것인지를 분별하도록 하는 강력한 기제를 제공한다. 개인사 자기연구는 교사로서의 자아 알기(self-knowing)와 전문가로서의 정체성(porfessional identity)을 명확히 이해하는데 도움이 된다.

This study is to investigate three elementary school teacher and I as a life histroical approach. They constructed the unique educational life history about elementary Korean language instruction. I try a self-study method of study to. Personal history provides a powerful mechanism for teachers wanting to discern how their lived lives impact their ability to teach or learn. The self-study approach is personal because of its emphasis on the self. The Self-study allows teachers to maintain a focus on their teaching and their students` learning. It contribute to the self-knowing and the professional identity.
