이 연구의 목적은 조언의 요건을 제시하여 조언 수행에 도움을 얻는 데에 있다. 조언은 화자가 청자를 도울 목적으로 정보를 제공하는 말하기이다. 그러나 화자의 의도만으로 조언의 목적이 실현되지 않는 경우가 많다. 이에 본고에서는 조언의 언어학적 조건과 의미 특성을 살피고 설문 조사를 통해 화자 입장과 청자 입장의 인식 차이를 관찰하는 과정을 통해 조언의 요건을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 첫째, 언어학적으로는 조언의 적정 조건을 충족시키기 위해 청자에게 도움을 주는 이로서의 배려 차원에서 체면을 보호해 줄 필요가 있다. 조언은 청자에게 변화를 요구하는 <의지표명>의 정도가 가장 완화된 화행으로, 화자는 청자의 의지와 자율성을 존중하면서 청자의 자율적인 실천 의지를 가장 잘 동기 부여할 수 있는 특징을 갖는다. 둘째, 현실적인 대화 상황에서 화자는 청자의 상황을 고려하고 조언의 목적을 분명히 인식할 필요가 있다. 조언은 뉴스와 같은 정보전 달과는 다르게 상대를 돕기 위한 목적을 가진다. 청자 입장에서 실제적인 이익을 창출하는 것은 조언 수행 밖의 문제이며, 조언은 말하기 자체가 돕는 행위이어야 한다. 그러므로 상대를 염려하고 배려하는 마음이 언어 수행 속에 담겨있어야 한다. 또 조언의 핵심 정보가 화자의 일방적인 관점에서 나온 것일 때 청자를 돕기 위한 본래의 목적을 달성하기 어렵게 된다. 본격적인 조언을 하기 전에 청자의 입장을 경청하면서 조언의 핵심 내용이 될 정보를 머릿속으로 점검하고 조정할 필요가 있다. 조언의 본래 기능을 가장 잘 발휘할 수 있는 조언의 요건을 탐색하고 제안하는 것은 협력적 대화 태도를 이해하는 데에 도움이 되리라고 본다.

This paper discusses for the requirements of advice to obtain help to advise, Advise the speaker to help the listener to say that is the purpose of providing information, However, the purpose of advising the speaker`s intention alone is often not realized, In this paper, of this advice calls for linguistic and semantic conditions. Through surveys of the differences in perception of the speaker position and listener position was observed. Thus, discuss in detail the requirements of the proposed advice. First, the linguistic point of view, it need to satisfy the felicity conditions, So adviser is necessary to protect the face of listener, Advise the speaker to the listener to reveal a willingness to demand a change is the most relaxed speech, Thus, the speaker respect the judgement of the listener, Speaker to the listener without forcing the speaker`s words, to judge for yourselves and convince them to accept. Second, it is in the realistic dialogue situations. The speaker should consider the situation of advice, and must recognize a clear purpose. Advice aimed at helping the listener has the news is different from the sense, It is out of speech act scope that the contents of the advice is actually beneficial to Listener, Speaker advise listener is to help itself. In the manner of advice, speaker make the listener can feel that trying to help. For advice on speaker selection should not be one-sided perspective. Before earnest advice, the speaker should check the core contents of the advice talking with listener.
