한국전쟁은 전봉건의 삶과 시세계 전반을 관통하는 가장 중요한 원체험이다. 따라서 전봉건의 전쟁시를 통시적으로 고찰하는 것은 그의 시세계의 변화과정을 이해하는 데 필수적인 작업이다. 이 논문은 시인이 전쟁의 트라우마에서 벗어나 내면적 치유과정을 거치면서 현실 인식이 어떻게 달라지는지를 정신분석학적 관점에서 분석하였다. 전봉건의 전쟁시에 나타난 퇴행 욕망과 환상의 역할을 분석하고, 그 심리적 기저를 제대로 이해하기 위해서는 의식뿐 아니라 무의식의 차원까지 고려할 필요가 있기 때문이다. 이 논문에서는 전봉건의 전쟁시를 크게 네 시기로 구분하여 분석하였다. 전기에 해당하는 1950년대 전쟁시가 트라우마에서 벗어나기 위해 무의식적 억압을 퇴행이나 에로스적 환상으로 표출한다면, 1980년대 이후에는 전쟁 체험을 실향이나 이산의 문제로 확장시키거나 현실 비판적 태도를 견지해나간다. 전기시의 경우, 전쟁의 공포와 불안을 유희적 충동으로 분출한 전쟁 직후의 시와 좀더 의식적인 차원에서 관능적 여성상을 통해 생명의 원초적인 힘을 회복하려는 시로 다시 나누었다. 후기시의 경우는, 고향과 모성의 상상적으로 복원하려는 시와 전쟁의 파편화된 기억을 반복적 리듬으로 변주한 시로 구분하였다. 또한 시적 주체의 인식에 따라 시의 비유구조와 언술방식 등에 나타난 변화를 설명하기 위해 프로이트의 ``응축``과 ``전위`` 개념을 ``은유``와 ``환유``로 대체했던 라깡의 개념을 원용하였다. 에로스적 환상과 기억의 응축을 보여주는 전기시가 은유적 구조를 취한다면, 전쟁의 기억을 증언에 가까운 방식으로 병렬시키거나 전위시키는 후기시는 환유적 구조를 취하고 있다고 보았다.

The Korean War is the most important original experience penetrating the life and poetry of Jeon Bong-geon. So to study his war poems historically indeed can be a esssential research about his poetry, This study is to analysis how did change his recognition of reality in according to the process of inner healing and getting out from trauma of war, In this paper, I divided into four section the war poems of Jeon Bong-geon, The former period of the war poems were written in 1950`s, and the latter period of them were written in 1980`s, And once more we can find the point of aesthetic divergence in the former period and the latter period each. The former period of war poems can be divided the poems which poet eject the fear and the anxiety into a play impulse and degradation in just after war and the poems which poet try to recover the power of life through the physical sense of woman. And then the latter period of war poems can be divided the poems which poet try to restore the hometown and maternity and the poems which poet create the rhythmical structure reconstructing the the fragment of memory concerned the war, And the recognition of poetic subject have an influence on the structure of metaphor and discourse form, For the explain the relationship, this paper claim the concept ``metaphor`` and ``metonymy`` from Lacan which he substituted the concept ``condensation`` and ``displacement`` from Freud, The poems of former period have the structure of metaphor with the erotic phantasy and the condensation of memory, the poems of latter period have the structure of metonymy with the realistic statement and displacement of memory.
