이 논문은 K-POP에서 나타난 심리적 현상을 감상자의 ``감흥``으로 접근하였다. 필자는 이를 위해 K-POP의 주류인 ``후크송``의 음악적 특징을 분석하였다. ``후크송``은 짧고 매력적인 후렴구의 반복, 솔직하고 간결한 가사, 화려한 군무, 풍부한 사운드로 구성되었다. 이와 같은 음악을 경험하는 가운데 생성되는 감상자들의 심리적 현상을 ``후킹효과``라 부른다. 이 현상은 감상자들로 하여금 자신도 모르게 노래를 흥얼거리며 춤을 따라하게 만드는 특징을 지니고 있다. ``후킹효과``의 이러한 점은 동양미학에서의 ``감흥``적 요소와 일치한다. ``감흥``은 일어나는 ``흥``에 따라 춤을 추거나 흥얼거림에서 시작하여, 궁극에는 인간이 자연과 일체임 자각하는 것을 경계로 삼고 있다. 필자는 ``후킹효과``의 ``감흥``적 요소인 흥겨움과 흥얼거림이 동양미학에서의 ``감흥``과 어떠한 차이점이 있으며, 이를 통해 앞으로 K-POP이 나아가야 할 점을 제시하고자 한다.

This paper approaches the psychological effect of K-Pop from the appreciator`s ``Inspirational`` perspective. For this, I analyzed the musical characteristics of ``Hook`` of K-Pop. A Hook generally consists of a repetitive short riff, passage, or phrase, easy to dance to, splendid performance, rich sound all together. Psychological effects arising inside of appreciators may be termed as ``Hooking effect`` when they experience the songs. Hooking songs make the appreciators humming a tune and dancing to dance of hook songs. This phenomenon may be described as ``inspirational`` effect of the appreciators. At first, appreciators will grow their interest in the songs, humming a tune and dancing to the songs, finally they interact with the musical works more deeply in the emotional charge of the songs and the emotional effects linger in the consciousness after the musical works done.
