The Study on the ``Chinese modern work on Korea and Korean`` initiated by researchers in China about 60 years ago has produced considerable outputs with active participation by Korean researches since the diplomatic relation between Korea and China in 1992. Despite such outputs by scholars of both countries, there is one problem in the study of types. This is the stagnation of discussion due to the shortage of new works discovered. As for the translation of the Korean folk tales, it is more vulnerable in that there is no independent discussion about it for 60 years regardless of the new discovery of works. This study aims to examine the translation of the Korean folk tales by the modern China. Currently, there is no widespread discussion on this topic. Accordingly, this study examines the existing works together with newly discovered translated works to figure out the overall feature of the translation of the Korean folk tales. According to the findings of the study, there are total 8 translated folk tales by 2011 which previous researchers dealt with. This study discussed 43 new translated works of the Korean folk tales translated by Chen Giu fan(陳秋帆) and Zhu Zi Rong(朱子容) and 17 riddles, superstitions, proverbs and folk songs additionally besides existing 8 works.
