본고는 파워블로그 분석을 통해 디지털 텍스트의 기술적 구현 가능성과 실제 구현의 차이 현상과 그 원인에 대해 고찰했다. 블로그의 포스트와 파워블로거들을 대상으로 한 인터뷰를 분석한 결과, 차이가 발생하는 원인은 두 가지였다. 첫째, 블로거는 인쇄 매체의 쓰기 관습과 경험으로 인해 블로그 쓰기에서도 문자 중심적 사고에서 자유롭지 못하다는 점, 둘째, 인쇄 매체를 재매개(remediation)하는 블로그의 특성으로 인해 블로거와 독자에게 가장 익숙한 인쇄 텍스트를 유사복원하는 암묵적 합의가 이루어진다는 점이었다. 디지털 텍스트의 구현에 관한 그간의 논의는 기술적 가능성에 초점을 맞추었지만 실제 구현은 사회·문화적 요인과 쓰기 주체의 쓰기 경험이라는 개인적 요인에 의해 이루어지고 있다. 사회·문화적 요인과 개인적 요인은 모두 언어중심주의 및 인쇄 매체를 기반으로 하는 기존의 쓰기-읽기 방식과 밀접하게 연관되므로 디지털 텍스트에서 인쇄 텍스트의 유사복원이 이루어지는 것은 현재 문식환경의 특성을 보여주는 것이다. 본고의 연구 결과는 디지털 매체에서도 언어중심주의가 여전히 지배적인 현재의 쓰기 환경을 충분히 감안할 때, 문식성의 재개념화와 관련된 논의의 방향이 새롭게 정립될 수 있다는 주장과 연결된다. 또한 아날로그 매체와 디지털 매체가 공존하면서 서로 모방·경쟁하는 구조로 인해 발생하는 현상과 효과에 대한 실증적 연구들과 심도 있는 고찰이 이루어져야만 문식성의 재개념화 논의가 내실을 다질 수 있을 것이다.

This research contemplated about the gap between technological realizable possibility and reality situation in digital text through analyzing power blogs. The causes of this situation were two kinds ways. First, bloggers` awareness of blogging was bounded by logocentrism because of the custom and experiences of printed media. Second, blog mostly remediated the form and genre of printed media. Previous arguments about realizing digital text were focused by technological possibility, but, truth realizing was decided by social/cultural factor and private factor of writing experience. Because these factors were conncected with logcentrism and existing written communication, it was natural consequence of quasi-restoration of printed text. The results of this research support the opinion which have to renew the direction of discussion about reconceptualization of literacy, considering current writing/composition circumstance that logocentrism dominate powerfully digital media,
