본 연구는 중도 장애학생을 위해서 지역의 특수학급이 공동으로 교육과정을 계획·운영하는 것에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 조사하고, 그 조사결과를 기반으로 활성화 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해서 경기도 소재 5개 교육지원청의 초등학교 현직 특수학급 담당교사 235명을 대상으로 우편물 및 메신저를 통한 설문조사를 실시하고, 그 응답결과를 취합·분석하였다. 그 결과, 특수학급 담당교사들은 지역의 특수학급 간 공동 교육과정 계획·운영이 장애가 심한 재학생들의 장애보상교육 등의 특수교육적 요구를 지원하는데 효과가 있는 것으로 보고 적극적인 참여 의사와 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 또한 지역의 특수학급 간 공동 교육과정의 활성화를 위해서는 교과 외 활동(체험활동, 생활기술 교육, 전환교육, 치료지원 등) 중심으로 인근지역 3-5개 학급이 학기 혹은 연간 단위로, ``교사 요인``(교사인식, 교사 간 네트워크 형성)과 ``운영 요인``(시간 운영 계획, 영역 및 내용 선정, 예산 편성 및 분담)이 조화된 계획·운영의 필요성을 강조했다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 추구하는 프로그램의 목표를 설정하는 ``강령 마련``, 갈등을 해소해 가는 ``숙의 과정``, 구체적인 방안이 도출되는 ``설계 단계``로 이루어지는 전략적 방안을 제안했다.
The study aims to conduct survey on special educators` recognition on planning and running common curriculum between local special classes for students with severe disabilities and to search for suggestions to invigorate it based on the results. For this, I conducted surveys on 235 special class teachers who works in elementary schools under 5 educational administrative offices in Gyonggido by mail and messenger and collected and analyzed the responses. As a result, special class teachers thought planning and running common curriculum between local special classes would have effects on supporting to special education demands including disability compensation education for students with severe disabilities and showed positive participation intentions and reacts. Also, in order to invigorate it, focussing on extracurriculum activities(experiences, living skills, conversion educations and rehabilitation support), necessity of planning and running neighboring local 3-5 special classes harmonized with ``teacher factors``(teacher`s recognition, forming network between teachers) and ``operation factors``(Time management, selection of fields and contents, planning and allocating budget) by semester or academic year was stressed. Based on the results, I made a strategic suggestion consisting of ``planning agent`` to set up goal of the pursued program, ``consultation process`` to resolve problems and ``design stage`` to get specific solutions.
