본 연구는 동료 피드백을 활용한 작문 활동에서 동료가 제공한 피드백 의견에 대한 피드백 유형별 수용도를 분석하여 동료 피드백 활동의 효과를 제고하기 위한 시사점을 도출하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 인문계 고등학교 2학년 학생 40명에게 초고 쓰기 , 동료 피드백 하기, 고쳐 쓰기 활동을 하도록 하고 그 과정에서 산출된 동료 피드백 의견 384건을 어떻게 수용하였는지 자기 점검표를 작성하도록 하였다. 분석 결과, 전체 피드백 의견 384건 중 262건인 68.23%의 의견이 수용되어 동료 학습자의 글을 고치는 데 기여한 것으로 나타났다. 수용 방식으로는 동료 피드백 의견을 있는 그대로 수용하는 방식보다 부분적으로 수용하거나 창의적으로 변용, 자체적으로 대안을 마련하는 방식의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 384건 중 122건에 해당하는 31.77%는 수용되지 않았다. 동료가 지적한 문제점에 대해서는 공감하지만 어떻게 수정해야 할지 몰라서 수정하지 못하거나, 초고와 많이 달라지는 것이 부담스러워서 수용하지 못하는 경우가 많았다. 피드백 의견의 성격·영역·내용에 따라 세부 유형을 나누어 수용 양상을 살핀 결과는 비판적 피드백보다 우호적 피드백이, 내용 및 조직 영역에 대한 피드백보다 표현 영역에 대한 피드백이, 오류 지적형 피드백보다 논평형·대안제시형 피드백의 수용도가 높게 나타났다. 각각의 피드백 유형별 수용 양상과 그 원인을 추적한 바, 동료 피드백 의견의 수용도를 높이기 위해서 다음과 같은 시사점을 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 피드백 수용자 측면에서 완성도 높은 글을 쓰고자 하는 동기를 고무하고, 동료의 의견에 보다 열린 자세로 임하며, 필요할 경우 과감하고 적극적인 고쳐 쓰기를 시도하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 동료 피드백 제공자 측면에서 동료 피드백 활동에 대한 사전 훈련을 체계적으로 실시하여 피드백 제공 능력을 신장시키는 것이 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to explore ways that enhance the impact of peer feedback activities by analyzing the acceptance of feedback opinion types. This study categorized feedback opinions provided by peer students in rewriting and tried to find out the concrete aspects of the feedbacks acceptance. For this purpose, 40 students in the 11th grade were asked to write first drafts, give feedback opinions and make amended drafts. With the total of 384 peer feedback comments, self-assessment forms were filled out to find how they were accepted. As a result 262 peer feedback comments were found to be accepted accounting for 68.23%. There were higher percentages of acceptance in part, creative conversions, and autonomous alternatives rather than acceptance in full. Regarding detailed types with characteristics, areas and degrees, there was more acceptances in friendly feedbacks than critical ones. In addition, it is found that more acceptance is made in expression areas than content and structure areas. Futher, comment and alternative suggestion feedbacks were highly accepted in comparison with error pointing out feedbacks. Having traced feedbacks of acceptance aspects and causes by type, it is likely that a degree of acceptance of feedback comments can be raised by following measures. First, for those who accept feedbacks, motivation to write better, open mind to peer opinions and resolution to rewrite drastically and positively when necessary is requested. Second, for those who give feedbacks, increased abilities with prerequisite and systematic training are necessary.
