이 연구에서는 국어과 교육과정과 교과서에 구현된 면담 교육의 내용을 면밀하게 분석해 보고, 학교 면담 교육의 문제점에 따른 대안을 제안하였다. 이론적인 고찰을 통하여 면담을 ``일정한 목적을 위하여 면담 참여자들이 사회적으로 만나서 주로 질의-응답의 형식으로 주고받는 담화``, 면접을 ``선발 또는 취직을 위하여 평가를 목적으로 하는 도구``라고 재개념화하였다. 국어과 교육과정과 교과서의 면담 교육 내용을 구체적으로 분석하여 학교 면담 교육의 문제점을 살펴보고, 이에 따른 대안을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 면담과 면접의 개념을 구분하여 지도하여야 한다. 둘째, 면담 화법 이론에 알맞게 교과서를 구성하여야 한다. 셋째, 실제 면담을 지원하기 위한 교육 내용을 제공하여야 한다. 넷째, 실제 면담을 수행하는 활동 중심으로 수업이 이루어져야 한다.

This study tried to closely analyze the contents of interview, which were implemented in Korean language curriculum and textbook, and suggested alternative plan according to a problem of school interview education. Through theoretical consideration, it established interview as a concept dubbed ``conversation that participants in interview socially meet and give to take mainly in the form of question and answer for the certain objective, and interview (test) as a concept dubbed ``tool of aiming to evaluate for selection or employment.`` It specifically analyzed the educational contents of interview in the Korean language curriculum and textbook, and then examined problems about school interview education. And alternative plans depending on problem were suggested as follows. First, there is a need of guiding by classifying a concept of interview and interview (test). Second, textbook needs to be formed in line with a theory of interview speech. Third, there is a need of offering educational contents for supporting actual interview. Fourth, a lesson needs to be made focusing on activity of performing actual interview.
