본고는 우리나라 주요 신문사의 채용 시험 중 국어 시험의 현황에 대해 개괄적으로 살펴보고, 실제 각 신문사에서 치러진 평가 문항을 구체적으로 분석해 본 연구이다. 본 연구에서 대상으로 삼은 평가 문항은 5개 신문사에서 시행된 12개 시험의 평가 문항으로, ``타당성 있게 평가하고 있는가?``, ``지식을 과도하게 평가하고 있지는 않은가?``, ``문항의 배점을 동일하게 하는 것이 바람직한가?``라는 의문을 중심으로 연구를 진행하였다. 신문사 채용 국어 시험은 ``채용`` 시험이기 때문에 정합성이나 타당성을 가져야 하는 것은 당연하다. 그리고 ``신문사`` 채용과 관련된 ``국어`` 시험이기에 적어도 일반적인 국어 능력이 아닌 고차원의 국어 능력을 측정할 수 있는 시험이어야 한다. 그러나 본 연구에서 기존 기출 문제를 분석해 본 결과, 여러 가지의 문제로 인해 ㅎ션실은 대체로 그러하지 못한 실정임을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze Examination of Korean language of a newspaper publishing company for employment. To achieve this, this study investigated the whole of examination and an actual state of test questions. Test ruestions is brought to twelve examinations of five newspaper publishing companies. This stubby concentrate on four questions, ``Has it a validity?``, ``Does it measure a knowledge excessively?``, ``Does it evaluate a substance evenly?``, ``Does it divide the allotment of question effectively?``. Examination of Korean language of a newspaper publishing company for employment has to be taken an alignment and a validity. And It has to be measured a high-class Korean language ability. But reality was not like that.
