The purpose of this study was to examine concentration-based simultaneous-sequential processing of intellectual disabilities students in comparison with those of without disabilities students, and determine potential difference between these two groups of students, so that it could contribute to improving attention function and information processing capacity of intellectual disabilities students. As a result, this study could come to the following conclusions: First, it was found that intellectual disabilities students tended to take longer time to search on the whole at simultaneous processing tasks than control. According to comparison of data on search response time at simultaneous processing tasks of intellectual disabilities students depending upon search set size, it was found that there was no significant difference. This finding means that search response time is not influenced by search set. Secondly, it was found that intellectual disabilities students tended to take linger time to respond to search on the whole at sequential processing tasks than without disabilities students According to comparison of data on search response time at sequential processing tasks of intellectual disabilities students depending on search set size, it was found that the smaller size of set was associated significantly with the shorter time to search. This finding shows that search set is effective in sequential processing task. Thirdly, according to comparison of search response time between simultaneous and sequential processing tasks in intellectual disabilities students, it was found that this group tended to take significantly shorter time to respond to search at simultaneous processing tasks than at sequential processing tasks.
