본 연구는 기능평가를 기반으로 한 미술치료가 지적장애아동의 부적응 행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 어린이집 방과후 반에 등원하는 부적응 행동을 보이는 초등학교 지적장애아동에게 체계적인 기능평가를 통한 치료적 근거를 바탕으로 대상아동의 소리지르는 행동, 타인을 괴롭히는 행동, 자리이탈하는 행동의 부적응 행동을 해결하기 위해 미술치료 중재를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 효과를 검증하기 위해 단일대상연구의 행동간 중다 기초선 설계를 사용하였으며 기초선, 중재, 유지단계로 실시되었다. 그리고 회기별 대상 아동의 치료적 근거에 따른 행동변화를 질적 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 기능평가를 기반으로 한 미술치료가 지적장애아동의 부적응 행동을 감소 시키는데 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 기능평가를 기반으로 하여 치료적 근거를 제시한 미술치료 방법을 지적장애아동에게 구체적으로 구성하여 적용하는데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine how a art therapy intervention based on functional assessment affects the Maladaptive behaviors of the children with intellectual disabilities. This study was an important attempt in terms of showing application promise in the functional assessment through arts therapy program as an educational alternative of reducing Maladaptive behaviors of the children with intellectual disabilities. In order to prove the effectiveness of this research, this study used a single subject research design, which was a multiple baseline, intervention, and maintenance phases, For qualitative analysis, the study analyzed children`s art activities by using such session. As a result of this, it was turned out that the therapy intervention based on functional assessment has a significant influence on reducing Maladaptive behavior. Therefore, this stubby was an important attempt in terms of showing application promise in the positive affects through a art therapy method of therapy based on functional assessment as reducing Maladaptive behavior of the children with intellectual disabilities.
