이 연구는 중·고등학교 학생들의 프레젠테이션의 슬라이드에 나타나는 복합양식 문식성 실행 양상을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 독서프레젠 테이션 대회에 참여한 중학교 8팀, 고등학교 7팀의 슬라이드 생산 과정, 슬라이드 파일, 프레젠테이션 동영상, 설문조사의 자료를 수집하여 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 중·고등학교 학생들의 프레젠테이션의 슬라이드에서는 문자의 이미지화, 내용의 구조화, 문자와 이미지의 상호작용이 나타났다. 특히 내용의 구조화에서는 글머리 기호 사용, 시각 자료 활용, 애니메이션 효과의 복합 양식 문식성을 통해 전달하고자 하는 내용을 표현하고 있었다. 이 결과는 프레젠테이션이 학생들에게 주체적으로 참여하여 복합양식 문식성을 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 있음을 보여준다. 또한 프레젠테이션을 다양한 방법을 통해 의미를 표현하는 복합양식 문식성 실행으로 접근하는 것이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있다.

This study aimed to analyze Korean adolescents` presentation through observing designing slides. A total of eight middle school teams and seven high school teams qualified for this competition. The size of each team varied from five to six students. We discovered the following multimodality patterns when students practiced their presentation: 1) the visualization of the text by using typography(word arts), 2) the structuralization of the contents in slides by using bulleted lists, graphics(smart arts), and animation, 3) interaction image and text. Slideware, such as PowerPoint and Prezi, a represents a form of cutting-edge technology that generates exciting opportunities for writing and speaking. Through presentation, students are able to produce various multimodal text, including text, images, and video. The study provide empirical accounts of adolescents` presentation.
