본 연구는 대학 교재 중심 글쓰기 수업에 대한 대안(또는 보완)이면서 동시에 전공 탐색과 진로 모색을 주제로 한 글쓰기 수업 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 학습자 중심 교육 차원에서 전공과 진로 그리고 글쓰기를 연계한 4년간의 지속적인 수업 진행은 글쓰기 능력 향상을 월등히 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대가 된다. 이 글쓰기 전략을 통해 학습자들은 전공 특성에 맞는 글쓰기 방식을 학습할 수 있으며 전공 담론의 형식과 내용을 자연스럽게 익히고 전공 지식을 구체화할 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있다. 전공 탐색, 전공과 적성을 접목하여 전공 관련한 진로를 확인하는 유익한 기회가 될 수 있다. 교육 수혜자 중심 측면에서 보자면, 학부에서 전공 이해와 진로 및 대학원 학업 방향성 모색은 지속적으로 이루어져야 함에도 현실은 그렇지 못 했다. 본 연구에서는 전공 탐색, 전공 심화 나아가 자신만의 진로 결정을 이룰 수 있도록 돕는 글쓰기 전략을 제시하였다. 전공에서 무엇을 배우고 직업적으로 어떤 일을 할 수 있는지에 대한 가능성을 글쓰기 과정에서 획득하는 유의미한 시간이 될 수 있다.

This study not only suggests an alternative method or supplement of textbook-centered writing classes, but also presents the teaching process for writing classes that deal with theme about investigating for major and job researching. In student-centered education dimension, continued classes progress linked to writing about major and job while four years of college is looked for developing students` ability of writing by for. Through the strategy suggested this study, students are able to learn the method of writing fitting their feature of majors and also acquire contents and form of discourse of majors. Furthermore it accelerates advancement opportunities to take concrete their knowledge of majors. As grafting investigating for major into job researching, it would be an opportunity for checking the career related to majors. Course education, understanding majors and investigation into direction of graduate school studies have been offered to students from undergraduate studies but not enough. This study suggests the writing strategy to help learns investigate and improve their majors as well as decide their careers. Through writing class processes, learners would know what kinds of career they can get and what to learn in their majors more specificly.
