본 연구는 작문교육사전 편찬을 위한 기초 연구로서 표제어의 거시구조와 미시구조에 대하여 논의하였다. 작문교육사전의 거시구조는 표제어의 선정과 범위를 결정하는 원리가 되며, 미시구조는 표제어의 기술 방식을 결정하는 원리가 된다. 거시구조 측면에서는 작문교육사전으로서의 정체성을 드러낸다는 관점에서 표제어를 추출할 수 있는 범주를 작문교육 영역, 작문 영역, 인접학문 영역으로 나누었다. 그리고 작문교육 영역에서 작문교육의 역사와 변화를 드러내주는 ‘통시적 관점’과 현재 현상을 보여주는 ‘공시적 관점’을 대범주로 설정하였다. 작문 영역에서는 작문이란 무엇인지 설명해줄 수 있는 ‘작문 행위 구성 요소’, ‘작문 능력’, ‘작문 갈래’를 대범주로 설정하였다. 인접 학문 영역에서는 작문과 타 학문을 융합하는 ‘작문 이론의 확장’, 인접 학문이 작문에 어떤 식으로 영향을 끼치는지 나타내줄 ‘작문과 인접 학문의 관계’를 대범주로 설정하였다. 미시구조 측면에서는 작문교육사전의 표제어 설명에 필요한 정보 구조를 ‘표제어’, ‘실질적 정의’, ‘기술적 정의’, ‘참조 정보’ 항으로 제시하였다. ‘실질적 정의’는 표제어에 대한 정의문, 동의어나 상·하위어에 대한 정보를 말한다. ‘기술적 정의’는 표제어와 관련된 부가정보, 작문교육에서의 중요성과 용례를 말한다. ‘참조 정보’는 해당 표제어의 관련어와 참고 문헌을 말한다.

The purpose of this study is developing of headwords` macrostructure and microstructure as basic study in writing education dictionary`s compliation. Macrostructure is about choice and boundary of headwords. Microstructure is about description method of headwords. In macrostructure`s aspect, I devided the headword`s grand categories as writing education, writing theory and connected studies. ``Writing education`` area has ``diachronic view`` and ``synchronic view`` as categories. ``Writing theory`` area has ``writing activity``s elements``, ``writing ability`` and ``writing genre`` as categories. ``Connected studies`` area has ``writing theory`s expansion`` and ``relation of writing and connected studies`` as categories. In microstructure`s aspect, I suggested information`s structure to explain headwords in writing education dictionary : headword, essential definition, descriptive definition, reference information.
