한국어 문학 수업을 위한 새로운 방안으로 ‘읽기·쓰기’ 통합을 적용, 새로운 수업안을 만들고 실제 수업에 적용해 보는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다. 언어 기술의 통합을 통한 학습 능력 향상에 대한 논의는 이미 여러 방향에서 논의된 바 있으나, 특히 한국어 교육의 문학 수업에 적용시킨 예는 드물다. 따라서 언어 기술의 통합, 특히 ‘읽기·쓰기’를 통합함으로써 문학 텍스트 읽는 과정을 심화시키고, 내용 이해에 도움을 주며, 더 나아가 읽기 능력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이라고 보았다. 이런 이론을 바탕으로 수업안을 개발, 고급반 학습자들을 대상으로 실제 수업에 적용시켜 보았다. 결과는 ‘읽기·쓰기’ 통합으로 진행된 반의 학습자들의 이해도와 읽기 능력이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 물론 이 결과를 일반화하기에는 여러 가지 한계점이 있지만, ‘읽기·쓰기’ 통합 이론의 실제 적용이라는 점과 문학 수업을 위한 새로운 수업안의 개발이라는 점에 의의를 둘 수 있겠다.

The purpose of this thesis is to design new teaching methodology for Korean literature class, “Reading and Writing combined methodology”, and apply the new method to the actual class. It has been studied and discussed that the learning capability can be improved when combined language skills are used for language teaching class. however, it has not actually been used for Korean language teaching class. Moreover, it has been discussed and proved several times that the combination of “reading” and “Writing” out of several language skill combinations is particularly important and closely related. Therefore, to combine “Reading” and “writing” can improve the literature text reading procedure, help students better understand the literature content, and improve their reading skills as well. Based on this thesis, I designed the teaching methodology for Literature (Non Fiction) class and applied the methodology to students in two high level classes. The result showed that the students who were taught through the “reading and writing” combined methodology had better content understanding and reading capability. Even though there is several limitation to generalize the result, it can be quite meaningful as it was the first trial to apply “reading and writing” combined teaching methodology to actual teaching classes and to design new literature teaching methodology.
