본 논문은 외국어로서의 한국어교육의 쓰기분야의 연구경향을 연구방법에 따라 살펴본 연구이다. 한국어교육에서의 쓰기 영역은 최근에 들어 학문적 목적의 한국어교육 연구가 활발해지면서 양적으로나 질적으로 큰 성과를 보이고 있는 분야이다. 본 연구에서는 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS)에서 한국어 쓰기교육과 직접적으로 관련이 있는 68편의 논문(학술지논문：13편, 학위논문：55편)을 분석하여 각 연구에서 사용하는 연구방법의 유형에 따라 논문의 유형을 나누어 보았다. 분석 결과 학술지논문의 경우에는 이차적 연구가 다수를 차지하였고, 학위논문의 경우에는 일차적 연구가 많았으며 그 중 양적 연구와 질적 연구가 혼합 연구방법을 사용한 연구보다 많은 수를 차지하였다. 또한, 세부적으로 살펴보면 몇 가지의 연구방법에 의존한 연구가 주를 이루고 있었다. 이러한 측면에서 앞으로의 쓰기 연구에서 다양한 연구방법의 사용과 혼합 연구방법의 사용을 확대할 것을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the types of KSL / KFL writing research papers according to the analysis of research methods in KSL / KFL writing research. Recently, a number of KSL / KFL writing research have increased together with the rising status of the KSL / KFL for academic purposes. A total of 68 research papers, searched in the KERIS(Korea Education & Research Information Service：http://www.riss4u.net/index.jsp), were identified and analyzed. Firstly, the results of the analysis of journal articles indicate that many secondary researches were found compared with primary researches. On the other hand, many primary researches were predominantly utilized over secondary research in the theses for a degree. In addition to this, qualitative and quantitative research methods were used frequently compared with the mixed research methods in the these for a degree. Lastly, most of primary researches used only one research method, that is, questionnaires. This study suggests that various research methods and mixed research methods should be utilized in KSL / KFL writing research.
