본고는 Reigeluth의 정교화 이론을 활용하여 국내 대학 글쓰기 교재의 교수전략을 분석함으로써 각 교재들의 내용 계열화 정도에 대해 고찰하는 데 목적이 있다. 분석 대상을 글쓰기 과정과 논문 쓰기로 나누어 설정하고 정교화 이론의 일곱 가지 교수전략을 분석 요소로 삼아 분석하였다. 분석 결과 현재 국내 대학의 글쓰기 교육에서 사용되는 교재들은 교수전략에 대한 고려가 거의 이루어지지 않은 채 설계되어 글쓰기 교육에서 기대하는 효과를 거두기에는 부족하다. 대학 글쓰기 교재들은 대개 절차적 정교화를 채택하고 있으나 동시에 개념적 정교화도 수용하고 있어 내용의 제시 방식의 일관성이 부족하다. 또한 요약자의 활용이 연습문제로 한정되어 있고 종합자를 거의 활용하지 않아 교재를 통한 교수학습 효과를 높이기 어렵다. 또한 교재가 대학의 학부생, 즉 비교적 수준높은 학습자를 대상으로 하고 있음에도 학습자 통제에 대한 고려가 거의 없다는 점도 문제이다. 적절한 형식화를 통해 학습자가 스스로 학습할 내용을 조직할 수 있는 학습자 통제 전략에 대한 고려도 필요하다. 논문쓰기는 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 최종 목표의 하나이기에 교재에서 논문 쓰기 부분은 이전까지 교재에서 학습한 내용들을 집적하는 방식으로 설계 되어야 한다. 따라서 논문 쓰기를 포함한 학술적 글쓰기 부분은 교재에서 교과전체 종합자의 역할을 하도록 교재가 설계되어야 한다. 정교화 이론을 통한 글쓰기 교재 분석은 보다 체계적인 분석 도구를 활용할 수 있기에 분석 결과의 객관성을 확보하기가 상대적으로 용이하다. 또한 글쓰기 교재를 평가하는 척도로도 개발·활용할 수 있다는 점에서 이에 대한 보다 심도 있는 연구들이 이루어져야 한다.

This paper inquire degree of contents sequence through analysis with elaboration theory of college writing textbooks` teaching strategy in Korea. College writing textbooks in nowadays have not consideration about teaching strategy, it`s difficult that these haven`t effect on education of college writing. Most of college writing textbooks, as a result of analysis, have not coherence, because these taking conceptual elaboration sequence, but procedural elaboration sequence at the same time. Summarizer is only exercises, synthesizer is used hardly, therefore it is difficult for effect of teaching-learning through writing textbooks. It is difficult for finding consideration of learner control strategy in these textbooks in spite of these textbook have a target to college student, comparatively high-level learner. It is necessary for learner control strategy through proper formating. Writing thesis is the one of final purposes of college writing, this part have to design in due form pile up so far learning contents. Academic writing, including writing thesis, therefore, have to take status of ``within-set synthesizer`` in writing textbook.
