이 연구의 목적은 쓰기 윤리의 개념을 짚어보고, 쓰기 윤리의 범주를 설정하면서 쓰기 윤리 교육의 방향과 지도 방안을 모색하고자 하는 데 있다. 쓰기 윤리는 “쓰기를 수행하는 과정에서 필자가 지켜야 하는 기본적인 도리 또는 행위의 규범”으로, 정직하게 쓰기, 진실하게 쓰기, 사실대로 쓰기, 배려하며 쓰기를 범주로 설정할 수 있다. 중·고등학생들을 대상으로 한 쓰기 윤리 교육은 개인적 양심성, 학문적 정직성, 사회적 공정성의 방향을 지향하여야 할 것이다. 쓰기 윤리의 지도 방안으로는 수업 시간에 직접적으로 쓰기 윤리 교육을 하는 방안과 간접적으로 지도하는 방안이 있다. 이를 위해 쓰기 윤리를 위반한 구체적인 사례를 활용하고, 쓰기 맥락이나 글의 유형에 따라 지도 방법을 달리할 수 있다. 또한, 쓰기 윤리 점검 문항의 사용, 쓰기 윤리 프로그램의 활용하기 등의 방안을 모색해 볼 수 있다. 이와 더불어 쓰기 윤리 교육의 필요성과 당위성에 대한 사회적인 합의, 국어교사의 인식 변화, 그리고 우수한 쓰기 윤리 프로그램의 개발 및 보급이 시급하다.

The goal of this paper is to seek a direction and to plan an instruction of writing ethics education as defining a concept and category of writing ethics. The writing ethics is defined as “the norm of the fundamental act or way that should be kept by the writer in writing process”. It is categorized：a honest writing, a true writing, a factual writing, and a writing with a consideration of others. It should be a personal conscience, an academic honesty, and a social fairness that the writing ethics education for the middle school and high school students intend to. We suggest a guideline of the principles for the writing ethics education. First, there is a direct teaching that make a good use of the specific examples as an unethical writing and instruct a writing context or a text type. It is also a possible way for the writing ethics education that an undirect teaching using a check list of the writing ethics, and an applying of the writing ethics program. At the last, it is urgent to achieve a social consensus for the importance and the necessity of the writing ethics education, to change of the understanding of korean teachers, and to develop and spread of the writing ethics program.
