본 연구는 새로운 2요인 모형의 전문적 도움추구 단축형 척도가 대상, 성별, 연령 및 상담경험 유무 에 따른 집단에 공통적으로 사용될 수 있는지 검증하고 각 변인 별 집단에 따른 상담태도의 차이를 알아보았다. 이를 위해, 우선 요인구조의 형태동일성을 검증하였고, 다음으로 모든 집단의 요인계수 에 동일화 제약을 가한 모형과 동일화 제약을 가하지 않은 기저모형을 비교한 요인부하량 동일성을 검증하였다. 또한 변인별 집단간 각 문항의 절편에 동일화 제약을 가한 모형과 동일화 제약을 가하지 않은 모형과의 비교를 통해 절편 동일성을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 형태동일성, 요인부하량동일성, 절편동일성이 성립되어 변인별 집단간 전문적 도움추구태도 척도의 측정동등성이 검증되었다. 이는 대상, 성별, 연령 그리고 상담경험유무에 따른 집단에 동일하게 전문적 도움추구태도 단축형 척도를 사용할 수 있음을 지지하는 결과이다. 한편 각 변인들에 따른 집단의 상담태도 평균 차이를 잠재평균분석을 통해 비교하였고, 성인일수록, 여자일수록, 연령이 높아질수록 그리고 상담경험을 받은 경 우, 전문적 도움추구 단축형태도 척도의 두 요인 중 긍정태도와 필요성 요인의 평균이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의 및 한계를 논의하였다.

This study was to explore the differences of attitudes toward seeking professional help in multiple groups based on variables such as subject (i.e., college students vs adults), gender(male vs female), age(those in their twenties, thirties, forties. or fifties), and previous counseling experience(those who have had or don`t have experience). In order to identify multiple group differences in help-seeking, the approach of latent mean analysis (LMA) within the framework of structural equation modeling was conducted. Configural, metric, and scalar invariances were tested and approved for revision of a two factors-model in ATSPPH-SF. Based on previously mentioned variables, results of mean differences indicated certain subgroups in each variable demonstrated more positive attitudes in seeking help. For instance, Individuals who are adults, females, in their thirties, or those who have had previous counseling experience are more positive toward seeking help than other subgroups. The implication and limitations are discussed for future research.
