본 연구의 목적은 심리·정서 상담과 구별되는 진로상담 전문가 양성을 위한 진로상담 수퍼비전에 대한 구성요소를 검토하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 다음과 같은 순서로 문헌고찰을 함으로써 진로상담 수퍼비전 구성요소와 내용에 대해 정리하였다. 첫째, 진로상담의 다양한 관점을 통해 진로 상담의 본질적 의미를 살펴보고 둘째, 진로상담 성과 연구와 국내외 진로상담 전문가 역량에 관한 문헌자료들을 바탕으로 효과적인 진로상담의 특성들을 검토, 요약하였다. 끝으로, 효과적인 진로상 담의 특성들과 Bronson(2010)이 제시한 진로상담 수퍼 비전의 구성요소들을 중심으로 진로상담 수퍼 비전 구성요소들을 제안하였다. 구체적 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로상담은 정신건강을 다루는 다른 형태의 상담과 유의미하게 다르면서도 개인 심리·정서 상담에 특별한 전문성이 추가된 상담의 형태로 합의되고 있다. 둘째, 과반 수 이상으로 언급된 효과적인 진로상담의 특성은 진로발달 이론, 직업 정보 및 출처, 전문가 윤리, 상담기술(개인/집단/진로), 내담자 탐색을 위한 평가 기술, 내담자와 협력적 관계 형성과 유지로 나타났다. 셋째, 효과적인 진로상담을 위한 진로상담 수퍼비전 의 구성요소는 (1) 수퍼비전 관계 (2) 상담기술 (3) 사례 개념화 (4) 평가 기술 (5) 직업 정보와 자료 의 제공 (6) 개인적 문제와 진로문제의 적절한 조화 (7) 발달 단계별 진로 문제 다루기 (8) 구직활동 전략 (9) 진로상담 윤리의 9가지이다. 이를 바탕으로, 진로상담 전문가 양성을 위한 수퍼비전의 역할을 조명하고 향후 진로상담 수퍼비전 연구에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

This article contains an overview of components of career counseling supervision for training of career counselors that are differentiated from emotional-social counselors. Discussion also focuses on perspectives regarding career counseling to identify the meaning of career counseling and qualities of effective career counseling to articulate the components of career counseling supervision. Results indicate that career counseling is regarded as significantly different from other forms of counseling and a specialized extension of personal counseling. It is described that the qualities of effective career counseling are as following; career development theory, work information and resources, career counselor ethics, major theories and models of counseling, job market information, counseling skills, assessment skills, making collaborative relationship with clients. Based on the qualities of effective career counseling and the component of career counseling supervision that Bronson(2010) introduced, it is addressed that nine components of career counseling supervision are as following; (1) supervision relationship, (2) counseling skills, (3) case conceptualization, (4) assessment skills, (5) information and resources, (6) interconnection between career issues and personal issues, (7) career issues across developmental stages, (8) work search strategies, and (9) ethics for career counselor. Implications for the training of career counselors and research with relation to the career counseling supervision are provided.
