본 연구는 도박심각도, 삶의 만족도, 영성 간의 관계를 분석하고 단도박 유무, 종교의 유무에 따라 집단의 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 하였으며, 또한 도박심각도와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 영성이 영 향이 있는지를 살펴보고자 한다. 본 연구는 총 104명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 단도박을 하는 집단이 도박을 지속하는 집단보다 삶의 만족도와 영성의 평균이 유의미하게 높았으며, 종 교가 있는 집단이 종교가 없는 집단에 비해 영성의 평균이 유의미하게 높았다. 각 변인들의 관계에 서는 도박심각도가 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 낮아지는 부적상관이 나타났고, 도박심각도와 영성과의 관계에서는 도박심각도가 높을수록 영성이 낮았지만 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 그렇지만 영성 의 하위영역과의 관계에서는 도박심각도가 높을수록 영성의 내적자원, 자각, 연결성이 통계적으로 유의미하게 부적상관을 나타냈다. 또한 삶의 만족도와 영성과의 관계에서는 유의미한 정적상관이 나타났다. 마지막으로 도박심각도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 영성(내적자원, 자각, 연결성)이 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 도박중독자의 회복을 삶의 만족도를 기준으로 평가할 수 있음을 나타내었고 삶의 만족도를 기준으로 하는 회복에 영성(내적자각, 자각, 연결 성)이 기여한다는 것을 밝혔다.

This study aims to analyze the relation among gambling severity, life satisfaction, and spirituality. Results of the study, the group of people who were stopping gambling showed significantly higher average of life satisfaction and spirituality than the group of people who were still gambling and the group of people who had religion showed significantly higher average of spirituality than the group of people who did not have religion. In respect of the relation among each variables, the higher gambling severity the lower life satisfaction; indicating there was negative correlation, the higher gambling severity the lower spirituality, but it was not statistically significant. However, in respect of the relation with the sub-domain of spirituality, as gambling severity was higher, there were more significant negative correlation between life satisfaction and spirituality. Lastly, in respect of the effect of gambling severity life satisfaction, it was identified that spirituality mediated entirety.
