본 연구에서는 청소년 자녀를 둔 부모를 대상으로 자녀와의 관계 상황에서 개인내의 인지, 정서, 행동, 신체 간의 조화 정도를 객관적으로 측정하는 부모-자녀관계 조화 척도를 개발하고, 요인구조 및 타당도와 신뢰도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 관련 선행연구 고찰, 기존 척도 참고 및 연구 대 상자의 개방형 질문지 응답을 분석하여, 120문항의 1차 예비문항을 작성한 후 상담 심리 전문가 7 명에게 내용타당도를 검증받았다. 이를 경상북도와 대구지역의 청소년 자녀를 둔 부모 107명을 대 상으로 자료를 수집하여 요인분석을 한 후, 수정?보완하여 37문항으로 구성된 예비척도를 제작하였다. 이를 전국 7개 권역의 청소년 자녀를 둔 부모 1,145명(아버지 333명, 어머니 812명)을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 요인분석 한 결과 최종적으로 부-자녀관계 조화 척도는 4요인 26문항, 모-자녀 관계 조화 척도는 4요인 28문항의 척도를 개발하였다. 하위 요인의 명칭은 선행연구와 문항내용을 검토하여 조화인지 요인, 조화정서 요인, 조화행동 요인, 조화신체 요인으로 명명 하였다. 개발된 척 도의 타당도 검증을 위해 부모-자녀관계 조화 척도와 부모 효능감 척도, 자녀관련 스트레스 척도 간 의 상관을 알아보았으며 수렴타당도 및 변별타당도가 양호한 것으로 검증되었다. 부-자녀관계 조화 척도 전체 및 4개 하위 요인의 Cronbach의 α계수는 .748～.880사이로 양호한 것으로 나타났으며, 모- 자녀관계 조화 척도 전체 및 4개 하위 요인의 Cronbach의 α계수는 .757～.879사이로 양호하게 나타났다. 174명(아버지 33명, 어머니 141명)을 대상으로 한 5주 간격의 검사-재검사에서 전체 척도의 신 뢰도는 부-자녀관계 조화 척도는 .974, 모-자녀 관계 조화 척도는 .898로 양호한 신뢰도를 나타내었 다. 아울러 본 연구에서 개발한 척도의 활용방안 및 연구의 의의 및 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Parent-Child Relations Harmony Scale(PCRHS) for Adolescent`s Parents in South Korea and to validate it. This study was involved took three steps. First, 120 preliminary item were based on theoretical literature and open-ended questions and verified the content validity to 7 counseling psychologists, the scale consisting of 120 items was administered to samples of 107 Adolescent`s Parents, and 37 items were eliminated based on item-scale correlation and factor extraction. Finally, the data were collected from 1,213 samples, and 68 samples of them were eliminated based on response dishonesty. The data of 1,145(fathers 333, mothers 812) samples were collected, and items of the scale were further reduced to 26 items(PCRHS for fathers) and 28 items(PCRHS for mothers) based on item-scale correlation and factor extraction. The confirmatory factor analysis was performed to examine 4 factors constructs, these were named `Harmonious cognition factor`, ‘Harmonious emotion factor``, ``Harmonious behavior factor``, and ``Harmonious body factor``. Internal consistency (Cronbach``s α) of total score showed .88(PCRHS for fathers) and .88(PCRHS for mothers) and Cronbach``s α of 4 subfactors demonstrated .75-.83(PCRHS for fathers) and .76-.85(PCRHS for mothers). The result showed that 26-item (PCRHS for fathers) and 28-item (PCRHS for mothers) modified measurement model had an acceptable fit to the data. The fit indices for the 26-item (28-item) 4-factor model were as follows: at PCRHS for tathers, χ²/df =2.033; GFI=.883; TLI=.875; CFI=.887; RMSEA=.056(at 90% confidence intervals, .049-.062). at PCRHS for mothers, χ²/df=2.623; GFI=.925; TLI=.910; CFI=.918; RMSEA=.045(at 90% confidence intervals, .041-.048). The limitations and implications of the study were discussed along with some seggestions for future research and counseling practice.
