본 연구는 여대생의 완벽주의 성향과 진로결정수준 및 진로준비행동이 어떠한 관계가 있으며, 여대 생의 완벽 주의 성향이 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동에 대해 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 서울 지역 에 재학 중인 여대생 526명에게 대면 설문지 작성과 e-메일을 통해 자료를 수집하여 상관분석과 위계적 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 우선 여대생의 진로결정수준은 완벽주의의 하위 변인인 ‘수행에 대한 의심’, ‘실수에대한 염려’, ‘부모의 기대와 비난’과 유의한 부적상관이 나타났으며, 진로준비행동은 ‘조직화’, ‘개인 적 기준’과유의한 정적상이 나타났다. 둘째, ‘수행에 대한 의심’, ‘조직화’, ‘실수에 대한 염려’, ‘부모의 기대와 비난’은 진로결정수준을 유의하게 예측하였다. ‘조직화’를 제외하면 ‘수행에 대한 의심’, ‘실수에 대한 염려’, ‘부모의 기대와 비난’이 진로결정수준 에 주로 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, ‘개인적 기준’, ‘수행에 대한 의심’, ‘조직화’는 진로준비행동을 유의하게 예측하였다. ‘ 수행에 대한 의심’을 제외하면, ‘개인적 기준’과 ‘조직화’가 진로준비행동에 주로 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 완벽주의가 진로결정수준과 진로 준비행동에 각각 다른 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인할수 있었고, 완벽주의 성향을 가진 여대생들의 진로상담에서 부적응적인 완벽주의에 대한 교정적 상담뿐만 아니라 내담자의 강점과 자원을 활용하여 적응적인 완벽주의 성향이 잘 발휘될 수 있도록 돕는다면, 진로상담의 효과를 좀 더 높일 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

The present study examined whether perfectionism (adaptive perfectionism, maladaptive perfectionism) affect career decision level and career preparation behavior of female college students. Data was collected using online and offline surveys from 526 female students at five universities in Seoul. Result from hierarchial regression analyses showed that among the sub factors of perfectionism, doubt about action, organization, concern over mistake, parental expectation and parental criticism had significant effects on career decision level of female college students and personal standard, doubt about action, organization had significant effects on career preparation behavior level of female college students. As a result, perfectionism turned out mainly to have significant negative effects on career decision level and mainly to have significant positive effects on career preparation behavior of female college students. Therefore, it means that counselors when career counseling with female college students with perfectionism should help not only to improve client``s maladaptive perfectionism but also to utilize client``s adaptive perfectionism and resources.
