본 연구는 완벽주의적 자기제시, 정서표현 양가성이 사회적 불안과 어떤 관계가 있는지 살펴보고, 정서표현 양가성이 완벽주의적 자기제시와 사회적 불안과의 관계를 매개하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 C 대학교 재학생 334명을 대상으로 한국판 완벽주의적 자기제시 척도(PSPS-K), 한국판 정서표현 양가성 척도(AEQ-K), 대인관계적 상호작용 불안 척도(SIAS), 사회공포증 척도(SPS)를 실시했다. 완벽주의적 자기제시, 정서표현 양가성, 사회적 불안 간의 상관을 알아보았고, 정서표현 양가성이 완벽주의적 자기제시와 사회적 불안과의 관계를 매개하는지 알아보기 위해 Baron과Kenny(1986)가 제안한 매개효과 검증절차를 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 완벽주의적 자기제시는 사회적불안과 정적 상관이 있었고, 정서표현 양가성도 사회적 불안과 정적 상관이 있었다. 또한 정서표현양가성은 완벽주의와 사회적 불안과의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속연구의 제언을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest effective factors in social anxiety people. This study did examine correlation between perfectionistic self-presentation and social anxiety, and verify the mediating effects of ambivalence over emotional expressiveness to establish a specific relationship between perfectionistic self-presentation and social anxiety. Research participants were 334 college students in Chonbuk, and They completed measures of Perfectionistic Self Presentation Scale-K, Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness Qustionnaire-K, Social Interaction Anxiety Scale, Social Phobia Scale. The result indicated the significant positive correlation between perfectionistic self- presentation and social anxiety, between ambivalence over emotional expressiveness andsocial anxiety. Also, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness fully mediated the relationship between perfectionistic self-presentation and social anxiety, The result suggest that it is important to deal ambivalence over emotional expressiveness for down level of social anxiety. Finally, the implication of this study and directions for future study are discussed.
