본 연구는 저자동시인용분석을 통해 상담학의 지적 구조를 밝힘으로써 상담학의 핵심저자, 연구 주 제, 세부 연구주제 분야를 파악하고, 상담학의 시대변화에 따른 연구주제의 변천과정을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 분석대상은 2000년부터 2010년까지의 한국상담학회 학술지『상담학 연구』 에 게재된 참고문헌의 서지 사항 인용데이터 10,394편이다. 분석방법은 인용데이터를 통해 피인용 빈도가 높은 핵심저자를 선정한 후 저 자들의 짝을 결합해 저자동시인용빈도 행렬과 피어슨 상관계수 행렬을 작성하였다. 저자들 사이의 관계와 연 구주제를 규명하기 위해 군집분석과 다차원척도분석을 이용하여 지적 군집을 저자 지도로 시각화하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현재의 상담학의 지적 구조 경향은 진로 및 적성연구와 성격 특성 및 적응연구 그리고 상담자특성, 훈련 및 슈퍼비전 연구로 나타났다. 둘째, 상담학의 연구주제는 시대적 변천에 따라 정체성 확 립기는 상담성과 및 과정연구, 도약기는 진로 및 성격연구, 발전기는 진로 및 성격연 구, 상담자특성 과 슈퍼비전 연구로 변화되었다.
The purpose of this study is to find out key authors, research subjects and detailed research subjects of Counseling by investigating the intellectual structure of Counseling through the author co-citation analysis. To achieve this purpose, the research questions were set up as follows. The analyzed data were extracted from papers and bibliographies listed in “Counseling Study” Journal of Korean Counseling Association from 2000 to 2010, using 10,394 citation data listed in journals. It coupled the pair in authors after selecting the core author, thereby having prepared the author co-citation frequency matrix and the Pearson``s correlation coefficient matrix. To closely examine the author-based elationship and the research theme, the author cluster was visualized with author map by using cluster analysis and multi-dimensional scaling analysis. The findings of this study were as follows. First, the current trend in the intellectual structure of Counseling can be shown in these three areas; study of career and aptitude, study of personality characteristics and adaptation, study of counselors`` characteristics, training and supervision. Second, research subjects are being changed depending on concerns and trends in the current situation; researches on counseling outcomes and processes in the stage of establishing identity, researches on career and personality in the stage of leaping, researches on career, personality, counselors`` characteristics and supervision in the stage of development.
