본 연구는 여러 연구들에서 청소년의 자살을 유발한다고 밝혀진 변인들을 검토하여 상관이 높은 변인과 영향을 주는 변인들을 알아보고 이러한 변인들이 청소년 자살생각과 자살시도로 전이되는 과정에서 우울과 자기개념의 역할을 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전북 OO지역 청소년 649명을 대상으로 개인변인, 가정변인, 학교변인, 또래변인, 지역사회변인, 정서변인으로 구성되어 있는 위기청소년 평정척도, 자기개념척도 및 자살생각과 자살시도 여부를 묻는 설문지를 실시하였다. 각 변인들사이의 관계를 알아보기 위해 피어슨 적률 상관계수를 구하였고 응답자들의 일반적인 특성과 특성에 따른 집단별 자살생각 간 차이를 파악하기 위해 t-test와 일원변량분석을 실시하였으며 경로분석을 위해서는 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 자살생각과 상관이 높은 변인은 우울, 가정변인, 개인변인, 학교변인, 지역사회변인, 자기개념, 또래변인 순이었다. 둘째, 청소년의 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 변인은 가정변인과 정서변인이었다. 셋째, 개인변인과 가정변인은 자기개념에영향을 주었고, 개인변인 가정변인 학교변인 또래변인은 우울에 영향을 주었으며 자기개념은 우울에 영향을 주었다. 반면 자기개념은 직접적으로 자살생각에는 영향주지 못하는 것으로 나타나, 자기개념은 자살생각의 직접적인 매개변인이 되지 못하였고 우울은 자살생각의 직접적인 매개변인임이입증되었다. 분석결과에 대해 선행연구와 관련하여 논의하고, 연구의 한계와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

This thesis aims at looking into the variable having a high co-relation with and having an influence on adolescents`` suicide by examining the variables that turn out to bring about adolescents`` suicide. So, this thesis attempted to clarify the self-concept and role of depression in the course that the variables are transferred to suicide ideation and suicide attempt. This thesis performed a questionnaire survey to inquire of at-risk adolescent rating scale, self-concept scale, depression scale, suicide ideation, and suicide attempt, composed of demo-sociological factor, individual factor, home factor, school factor, peer factor, community factor, and emotional factor on the target of 649 adolescents in the region of 00, Jeonbuk. This thesis calculated Pearson product moment correlation coefficient to investigate the relationship among respective variables, performed t-test or one way ANOVA to grasp relationship between respondents`` general traits and suicide ideation and performed Hierarchical Regression Analysis to Path analysis. As a result, first, the variables which had a high relationship with suicide ideation were self-concept, individual variable, and home variable in order. Second, the variables which had an influence on adolescents`` suicide ideation were home variable and emotional variable. Third, individual variable and home variable had an influence on self-concept. individual variable, home variable, school variable, and peer variable had an influence on depression. It was verified that self-concept variable don``t become directly mediated factor of suicide ideation, but that depression become directly mediated factor of suicide ideation. This thesis discussed on precedent studies on analysis result and presented limitation of the study and some successive suggestions.
