대학생용 자기성장 척도 개발
Development of a Self-growth Scale for University Students

본 연구에서는 대학생의 자기성장 척도를 개발하고, 요인구조 및 타당도와 신뢰도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 관련 선행연구의 고찰을 바탕으로 125문항을 제작하여, 상담전문가 6명으로부터내용타당도를 검증 받은 후, 1차 예비척도 120문항을 선정하였다. 이를 대구·경북지역 153명을 대상으로 1차 요인 분석한 결과 2차 예비척도 90문항이 선정되었고, 전국지역 대학생 795명을 대상으로 2차 요인 분석한 결과, 6개 하위요인의 36문항이 최종적으로 추출되었다. 각 하위요인은 자기이해 5문항, 자기수용 6문항, 타인이해 5문항, 타인수용 8문항, 자기개방 6문항, 자기주장 6문항으로구성되었다. 자기성장 척도 전체에 대한 Cronbach의 α계수는 .839, 6개 하위요인의 Cronbach의 α계수는 .667에서 .785였다. 자기성장 척도와 대인관계조화 척도, 우울척도 간의 상관 분석 결과 구인타당도가 양호한 것으로 검증되었다. 적합도 및 간명도 검증 결과 양호한 모형으로 확인되었으며, 238명을 대상으로 한 4주 간격의 검사-재검사 신뢰도에서도 Cronbach의 α계수 .875로 양호한 신뢰도로 확인되었다. 아울러 본 연구에서 개발한 척도의 활용과 의의 및 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Self-growth Scale for University students in south Korea and to validate it. First, The preliminary scale of 125 items was developed based on theoretical literature. Second, 120items were eliminated based on to pre-test and Judgement of six experts to verify the contents validity. Third, the scale consisting of the items was administered to 153 university students and 90 items were eliminated based on item-scale correlation and factor extraction. Finally, the scale consisting of the items was administered to 795 university students all over the country and consequently items of the scale were reduced to 36 items based on item-scale correlation and factor extraction. To examine the stability of factor structure of 36 items measurement model, a confirmatory factor analysis with a maximum like-hood estimation method was conducted in Amos 18.0, and 6 factors such as self-understanding(5 items), self-acceptance(6 items), others-understanding(5items), others-acceptance(8 items), self-disclosure(6 items), and, self-assertive(6 items) were identified. This study was to verify the validity of Self-growth as follows. First, The result showed internal consistency(Cronbach``s α=.839) and test-retest reliability(r= .875). The result showed that the Self-growth Scale was positively related to the interpersonal Harmony Scale(r= .580) and negatively related to the Depression Scale(r= -.530). Second, Multiple indices to assess the fit of the measurement model to the data were examined, The result showed that the 36 items had an acceptable fit the data, The fit indices for the 36 items 6-factor model were as follows;X2/df= 2.410, IFI= .871, TLI= .859, GFI= .870, RMSEA= .042. All of the loadings of the 36 measured variables on the latent variables were statistically significant(p < .01). In conclusion, this instrument demonstrated satisfactory reliability and validity. Therefore, it was an appropriate measurement of a Self-growth for university students in south korea, Implications for future research were discussed.
