본 연구에서는 외상 후 스트레스와 알코올 의존간의 관계에서 경험회피가 매개하는지를 검증하였다· 연구를 위해 4개의 다른 병원에서 알코올 의존을 가지고 있는 119명의 환자들을 대상으로 외상 후 진단 척도, 수용 행동 질문지-Ⅱ, 알코올사용 장애 진단검사를 각각 실시하였다· 상관분석 결과 외상 후 스트레스 증상, 경험회피, 알코올 의존 모두 유의미한 정적관계가 있었다· 구조방정식 분석 결과 외상 후 스트레스 증상, 알코올 의존과의 관계에서 경험회피가 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다· 이는 외상 후 스트레스와 알코올 의존을 가지고 있는 사람들에 대한 치료에서 ``경험회피`` 에 대해 다루는 것의 중요성을 시사한다· 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 제한점 및 추후연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다.

This study identified the role of experiential avoidance as mediating variable in the relationship between PTSD and Alcohol Dependence· For this study, the sample of 119 patients who have alcohol dependence in 4 different hospitals were asked to complete The Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale: PDS, Acceptance & Action Questionnaire- ケ: AAQ-ケ, The Achohol use Disorder Identification Test: AUDIT-K· The result suggested that significant positive effects were observed between posttraumatic stress symptom and Experiential Avoidance and Alcohol Dependence· Structural equations analyses revealed support for a fully mediational role of Experiential Avoidance· That is the result suggested that it would highly important to deal with the experiential avoidance in therapeutic interventions for those who having posttraumatic stress, alcohol dependence· Limitations of the results and suggestions for future research are discussed.
