본 연구에서는 기혼 부부를 대상으로 부부갈등과 결혼적응과의 관계에서 지혜의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다· 이를 위하여 서울과 경기, 강원도 지역의 30대에서 60대 기혼부부 226쌍을 연구대상으로 실시하였고, 측정도구는 부부갈등척도, 결혼적응척도(RDAS), 지혜척도(KMWS)를 사용하였다· 자료 분석을 위해 상관분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다· 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다· 첫째, 부부갈등, 결혼적응, 지혜변인 간의 상관관계는 남편과 부인 모두 부부갈등이 낮고 지혜가 높을수록 자신과 배우자의 결혼적응이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다· 둘째, 남편, 부인집단에서 부부갈등이 결혼적응에 미치는 영향에서 지혜의 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다· 이상의 결과를 통해, 본 연구가 기혼 부부를 한 단위로 부부갈등, 결혼적응, 지혜의 관련성 즉, 성인발달과업에서 결혼적응과 행복한 결혼생활에 중요한 기초 요인임을 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다· 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점, 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언 등을 논의하였다.

This research was to analyze the moderating effect of wisdom in the relationship between marital conflict and marital adjustment· The survey was conducted on a 226 married couples between the ages of 30-70 in 2011· Data analysis such as average, standard deviation, paired t-test, correlations, hierarchical stepwise analysis· In the relationship between marital conflict and marital adjustment, husband and wife had effect by own wisdom· Relationship of marital conflict, marital adjustment, and wisdom variables shows that lower marital conflict between husband and wife and higher wisdom makes more capable to adjust to their husband or wife· Thus, each wisdom of husband and wife were very important variables for marital adjustment· Also, it checked that couples are developed and exhibited their wisdom to variable conditions by each situation and properties· This condition`s wisdom was adaptable moderate variable in the relationship between marital conflict and marital adjustment.
