본 연구는 Garnefski, Kraaija와 Spinhovena(2001)이 개발하였고 김소희(2004)가 한국어로 번역한 인지적 정서조절전략 척도(Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire; CERQ)의 타당도 및 신뢰도를 검증하고 자 했다· 기존의 정서조절 전략 이론들과 국내외 인지적 정서조절 전략에 대한 문헌고찰을 통해 국 내에서 번역된 인지적 정서조절전략 척도 문항들을 검토하였으며 수정 및 보완이 필요함을 확인하였다· 원척도를 타당화하기 위해 만 18세 이상 성인 513명을 대상으로 인지적 정서조절전략(CERQ), 외상 후 진단(PDS), 벡의 우울 척도(BDI) 및 정서조절곤란(DERS)으로 구성된 설문지를 실시하였다· 일반 대학생 263명을 대상으로 예비연구를 통해 문항분석을 한 결과 36개 문항 중 35개 문항이 최 종 CERQ에 포함되었으며, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 7요인 구조가 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다· 이후 250명을 대상으로 한 본 연구의 확인적 요인분석 결과에서는 9요인 상호상관 구조가 높은 설명량을 보여 통계적, 경험적 근거에 따라 원척도와 동일한 9요인 모형이 보다 적합한 최종모형임을 확정지었다· 최종모형에 대한 신뢰도 분석 결과, 전체 문항 및 요인 간, 요인-문항 간 내적합치도가 양호한 것으로 확인되었고, 수렴타당도 및 준거타당도 역시 적절히 확보되었다· 본 연구결과를 통해 한국판 인지적 정서조절 전략 척도가 비교적 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도임을 확인할 수 있었으며, 향후 국내 CERQ연구를 촉진하고 한국 문화에 적합한 방식으로 연구 결과를 이해하고 적용하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

The present study examined the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Cognitive Emotional regulation Questtionnaire (K-CERQ) that is developed by Garnefski, Kraaija and Spinhoven (2001) and translated by Kim (2004)· We conducted preliminary study for analyzing the items and conducting exploratory factor analysis in 263 undergraduate student· The results of item analysis and exploratory factor analysis suggested 35 items under seven factors· Then we conducted the confirmatory factor analysis and calculated reliability of the K-CERQ in 250 undergraduate student· They completed with K-CERQ, Post-traumatic Diagnostic Scale (PDS), Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS)· Confirmatory factor analysis result supported the nine factor cross correlation structure of the K-CERQ· In results of item analysis and reliability analysis of final structure, the sub-scales of the K-CERQ showed high internal consistency and good for criterion-related and convergent validity· Results are discussed in suggestion for using the K-CERQ and restriction of this study· According to these findings, we confirmed that K-CERQ is relatively reliable and valid scale and expect that K-CERQ is helpful to promote domestic cognitive emotional regulation research and understand findings in manner appropriate to the culture of Korea.
