이 연구의 목적은 초등학생과 중학생을 대상으로 성별 및 학교급에 따라 부모의 학업성취압력과 학 생의 학업적 자기효능감이 학생들의 학업스트레스에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴봄으로써 초등학생 과 중학생의 학업스트레스에 대한 학문적 이해를 높이고 나아가 이를위한 차별적 개입방안을 마련 하는데 기초적 자료를 제공하려는데 있다· 초등학생 484명과 중학생 494명을 대상으로 분석한 결과, 첫째, 학업스트레스는 학교급에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나, 성별에 따른 유의미한 차이는 나타나지 않았다· 둘째, 학업스트레스는 부모의 학업성취압력과 정적인 상관을 갖고, 학업적 자기효능 감과 부적인 상관을 가지는 것으로 나타났다· 마지막으로 학업스트레스에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것은 부모의 학업성취압력으로 나타났으며, 학업적 자기효능감, 학교급, 성별의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다· 이후 이러한 연구결과가 우리나라 초등학생과 중학생의 학업스트레스에 대한 학교상담 서비스 및 학부모 교육에 시사하는 바를 논의하였다.

This study examined the effect of parents academic achievement pressure and academic self-efficacy on the academic stress of elementary and middle school students according to their sex and level of schooling· The aim of this study was to provide suggestions for school counseling with students who are under academic stress and implications for parental education· In order to fulfil the purpose, firstly, the differences in academic stress between boys and girls as well as between elementary school student and middle school students were examined· Secondly, the correlation analysis was used to find out the relations among academic stress and two psychological variables, level of schooling, and their sex· A total of 484 elementary school students and 494 middle school students were included in the analysis· The results of this study were as follow: Firstly, the significant differences of academic stress were shown not between boys and girls but between elementary school student and middle school students· Secondly, it was found that parents academic achievement pressure was the most predictable variable on academic stress· Lastly, The discussion is focused on the meaning of these findings and the suggestions for the further studies.
