본 연구는 뇌졸중 노인의 손기능 및 대인관계 향상에 미술치료가 효과가 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌조사를 통한 뇌졸중 노인의 재활 요구도와 뇌졸중 노인에게 미치는 미술치료의 효과를 정리하였고, 이를 토대로 게임형식의 역동이 포함된 집단미술치료 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램은 의학적 소인이 뇌졸중으로 판정된 65세 이상인 노인 6명을 대상으로 하였으며 총 12회 기를 진행하였다. 본 프로그램의 효과검증을 위해 손의 운동능력 평가목적으로 사용되는 MAL(Motor Activity Log)을 근거로 하고 대인관계 평가 도구를 기초로 평가도구를 제작하였으며 내용타당도 검 증을 거쳐 완성하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 훈련된 간호요원의 관찰과 참가자의 반응으로 평가 되었고, 그 결과 의도된 본 프로그램이 뇌졸중 노인의 손동작 기능의 향상을 가져오고 대인관계의 폭을 확장시키는 것으로 나타나 본 집단미술치료 프로그램이 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of integrated art therapy on the stroke elderly`s physical function and human relationship. For the objective, this study was designed to summarize the effects of art therapy on the stroke elderly and to identify the stoke elderly`s rehabilitation needs from the literature review. The above identified knowledge and information were applied to developing the integrated art therapy program. The program was composed of 12 sessions with 6 aged over 65 who were diagnosed medically as stroke patients focused on developing physical function and human relationship. And enforcing and evaluation methods were also suggested. The results were as follows. This program showed promient differences between the pre and post core of the therapists` observations and participants` responses. In conclusion, the integrated art therapy program through playing dynamics with applicable music and motion employed for this study has significant effects of increasing hand activity of the physical function and human relationship of the stroke elderly.
