본 연구에서는 대학생들이 대인관계 상황에서 개인내의 인지, 정서, 행동 간의 조화 정도를 객관적으로 측정하는 대학생 대인관계 조화 척도를 개발하고, 척도의 요인구조 및 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 선행연구를 통해 대인관계의 중요성, 대인관계의 개념 및 대인관계 조화의 개념을 확립하고 130문항의 1차 예비문항을 작성한 후 상담심리 전문가에게 문항내용 및 표 현의 적절성 등에 대한 내용타당도를 검증받아 118문항의 2차 예비문항을 구성하였다. 이를 경상북도와 대구 지역의 대학교에 재학 중인 남녀 학생 357명에게 실시하여 빠진 문항이 있거나 성실히 답하지 않은 12부를 제외하고 345부에 대해 인지, 정서, 행동적 요인을 확인하기 위한 요인분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 대인관계 조화 척도는 3요인 28문항으로 구성되었고 요인 1(9문항)은 대인관 계인지 요인, 요인 2(10문항)는 대인관계 정서 요인, 요인 3(9문항)은 대인관계 행동 요인으로 명명 하였다. 수렴타당도와 변별타당도를 확인하기 위하여 대학생 106명에게 대인관계 조화 척도와 대인 관계 만족도 검사 및 대인관계 스트레스 검사를 실시한 결과 대인관계 만족도 검사와의 상관계수는 .677로 유의한 정적상관을 나타내었고, 대인관계 스트레스 척도와는 -.718로 유의한 부적상관을 나타내었다. 대인관계 조화 척도의 전체 신뢰도는 .852이었고 요인 1은 .923, 요인 2는 .884, 요인 3은 .840으로 전반적으로 높게 나타났다. 아울러 본 연구에서 개발한 척도의 활용방안 및 연구의 의의에 대하여 논의하였다.
The Purpose of this study was to develop the Interpersonal Harmony Scale for University Students (IHSU) and to validate it. First, the preliminary scale of 130 items was developed based on literature and previous studies. Second, to verify the content validity, 3 counseling experts rated those items. Third, this scale consisted of 118 items was administered to samples of 357 university students. Datas were collected from 357 samples, and 12 samples of them were eliminated based on response dishonesty. Finally, the datas of 345 samples were collected, and items of the scale were further reduced to 28 items based on a item-scale correlation and factor extraction. Factor analysis showed evidence of construct validity of the scale. Three factors were extracted from the factor analysis. Factor 1 implies interpersonal cognition, factor 2 implies interpersonal emotion, and factor 3 implies interpersonal behavior. Internal consistency(Chronbach`s α) of total score showed .852 and Chronbach`s α of 3 factors demonstrated .840-.923. In conclusion, this instrument demonstrated satisfactory construct validity and reliability. The limitations and implications of the study were discussed along with some suggestions for future research and counseling practice.
