본 연구는 대학생 음주문제에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 생물학적 요인, 사회·문화적 요인, 심리적 요인으로 나누어 살펴보고, 음주문제로 대학생활에 지장을 초래하는 대학생들을 위한 상담 및 교육에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 대학생 420명을 대상으로 연구를 실시한 결과 첫째, 생물학적 요인의 경우 가족의 음주문제 여부는 대학생 음주문제에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회·문화적 요인의 경우, 아버지의 음주빈도가 높을수록, 친구의 음주빈도가 높을수록, 신앙심의 정도가 낮을수록 대학생 음주문제가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 심리적 요인의 경우 출생순위와 심리적 출생순위의 차이를 지각한 집단이 차이를 지각하지 못한 집단보다 음주문제가 더 높게 나타났다. 생활양식 유형 중 기대가 높을수록, 완벽성이 낮을수록 대학생 음주문제가 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과들은 사회·문화적 요인, 심리적 요인이 대학생의 음주문제에 중요한 요인으로 작용한다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구의 제한점과 시사점, 음주문제를 보이는 학생들을 위한 프로그램 개발에 대하여 추후 연구방향을 논의하였다.

The present study investigated that the factors that influence college students` drinking problems: biological, social and cultural, and psychological factors and intended that material of counseling and education will be given to students with drinking problems. 420 students completed the scales. The most significant results were as follows: First, in social and cultural factors, subjects with higher father`s drinking frequence, with higher friends` drinking frequence and with lower religion got higher scores in drinking problems. Second, in psychological factors, subjects with difference physiological of psychological birth order got higher scores in drinking problems. Subjects with higher expectations and they with lower perfection scores in lifestyle got higher scores in drinking problems. These results showed that social and cultural, and psychological factors were important factors in college students` drinking problems. Based on the finding results, discussion and implication for further research were suggested.
