본 연구는 대학생 집단 내에서 종교성향과 강박적인 성격특성이 사고-행동 융합에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 본 연구의 목적을 확인하기 위해 대학생 472명(남학생 309명, 여학생 163명)을 대상으로 사고-행동 융합 척도(Thought Action Fusion Scale, TAFS), 종교성향 척도(Intrinsic Religious and Extrinsic Religious Orientation Subscale), 강박적 신념 척도(Obsessional Belief Questionnaire: OBQ)를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 종교유무에 따라 집단을 나누어 표준 중다회귀분석과 위계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 종교성향과 강박적 성격특성은 두 집단 모두에서 사고-행동 융합에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 종교를 가진 집단에서는 도덕성 사고-행동 융합에 대해서 내재적 성향과 책임감이 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 가능성 사고-행동 융합에 대해서는 내재적 성향과 외현적 성향, 완벽주의가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 종교를 가지지 않은 집단에서는 도덕성 사고-행동 융합에 대해서 내재적 성향과 외현적 성향, 책임감과 완벽주의가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 가능성 사고-행동 융합에 대해서는 내재적 성향과 외현적 성향, 완벽주의가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 종교성향의 하위요인과 강박적 성격특성의 하위요인이 상호작용하여 사고-행동 융합에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과, 종교를 가진 집단에서는 도덕성 사고-행동 융합에 대해서 외현적 성향과 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족, 외현적 성향과 완벽주의의 상호작용이 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 종교를 가지지 않은 집단에서는 전체 사고-행동 융합과 도덕성 사고-행동 융합에 대해서 내재적 성향과 완벽주의가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학생의 상담에 있어 종교적 요인과 강박적 성격특성을 고려해야 함을 시사해 준다. 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

The current study examined the effect of religious orientation and obsessive personality characteristics on Thought-Action Fusion(TAF) in undergraduates. 472 undergraduates(163 female, 309 male) completed Thought Action Fusion Scale(TAFS), Intrinsic religious and extrinsic religious orientation subscale, Obsessional Belief Questionnaire(OBQ). The data were analyzed through standard multiple regression and hierarchical multiple regression, and the analysis were performed to the two groups(Religion group and No Religion group). The results indicated that both religious orientation and obsessive personality characteristics had a significant effect on TAF. In Religion group, intrinsic orientation and responsibility had significant influence on Moral TAF while intrinsic and extrinsic orientation and perfectionism had on Likelihood TAF. In No Religion group, intrinsic and extrinsic orientation and responsibility and perfectionism had significant influence on Moral TAF while intrinsic and extrinsic orientation and perfectionism had on Likelihood TAF. The effect of interaction between religious orientation and obsessive personality characteristics on TAF were investigated. In Religion group, Moral TAF was significantly influenced by extrinsic orientation intolerance of uncertainty and extrinsic orientation perfectionism. In No Religion group, the significant interaction between intrinsic orientation and perfectionism emerged in total TAF and Moral TAF. Based on this study, it was suggested that religious orientation and obsessive personality characteristics should be more considered in counseling. The implications and limitations of current study and recommendations for further research were discussed.
