Lent와 Brown, Hackect의 사회인지적 진로이론(SCCT)은 개인적 특성과 맥락적 영향, 사회인지적 변인들이 어떻게 직업적 흥미나 진로 목표, 행동의 형성에 영향을 미치는가를 진로발달 모델이다. Bandura의 사회인지적 이론에 근거하여, SCCT는 진로발달 과정에서 학습경험과 자기효능감, 결과기대의 역할을 강조한다. 또한 SCCT는 사회인지적 변인들과 직업적 흥미, 그 밖의 다른 진로 변인들에 대한 성차나 소질 등을포함한 다양한 개인적 변인들의 관계에 관심을 갖는다. 이 연구의 목적은 자기효능감과 결과기대의 원천으로서 학습경험의 기능을 조사하기 위해 진로 관련 활동에 대한 다양한 학습경험을 평가 할 수 있는 Holland의 여섯 개 RIASEC 유형을 활용한 학습경험 질문지(Learning Experiences Questionnaire, LEQ)를 번안하여 구내의 실정에 맞게 한국 대학생을 대상으로 하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 분석하는 것이다. 서울과 경기도 지역에 소재하고 있는 4개 대학의 남녀 대학생이 예비검사 192명, 본 검사 325명이 참가하였으며 이들의 자료가 분석 되었다. 예비검사와 본 검사를 통해 Holland RIASEC 흥미유형(현실형, 탐구형, 예술형, 사회형, 진취형, 관습형)내의 4개 하위척도(수행성취, 대리학습, 언어적 설득, 정서적 각성)가 확인적 요인분석을 통해 밝혀졌으며MULTILOG를 사용한 문항 양호도 결과는 상당히 좋은 문항변별도와 위치모수의 값을 나타냈다. 척도의 내적 일관성 또한 0.68∼0.85의 범위에서 대체로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과에 기초해서 학습 경험은 SCCT 이론내에서 대학생의 직업적 흥미를 예측해 주는 잠재적 변인임을 알 수 있다.

Lent, Brown, and Hackett`s(1994) social cognitive theory(SCCT) is a model of career development that delineates how person inputs, contextual affordances, and sociocognitive variables affect the formation of vocational interests, career goals, and actions. Based on Bandura`s(1986) social cognitive theory, SCCT emphasizes the role of learning experiences, self-efficacy, and outcome expectation in the career development process. SCCT is also concerned with the relations of various person variables, including race/ethnicity, gender, and predispositions, to sociocognitive variables, vocational interests, and other career outcomes. The purpose of present study was to examined the role of learning experiences as the sourse of self-efficacy and outcome expectation. For the purpose of this research, the Learning Experiences Questionnaire(LEQ) spanning Holland`s (1997) RIASEC themes was translated and development to assess learning experience for a variety of career-related activities. Using previously the LEQ, the present researcher collected preliminary data from 192 and main analyses data from 325, who are attending 4colleges in Seoul and Kyung-gi area. Data were anayzed to obtain item Quality, reliability, and validity evidences. The result of the confirmatory factor analysis confirmed four subscales (Performance Accomplishment, Vicarious Learning, Verbal Learning, Emotional Arousal) in the Holland`s RIASEC themes (Realistic, Investigate, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional Interest). The result of item quality analysis using MULTILOG revealed that the items had reasonably good discrimination and location indices. Internal consistency of scale were also substantially high, ranging from .68∼.86. Based on the above findings, learning experience was a potent predictor of college students` vocational interest in the SCCT.
