본 연구는 간호대학생의 진로 태도 성숙에 영향을 미치는 변인을 파악함으로써, 간호대학생의 진로 발달을 위한 상담과 지도 방안 마련의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구 대상은 전국의 4개 대학에 재학 중인 간호대학생 532명이었다. 본 연구를 통하여 나타난 결과는 첫째, 간호대학생의 진로 태도 성숙도는 자아 존중감, 전공 선택 확신, 비판적 사고 성향과 높은 상관 관계가 있었다. 둘째, 간호대학생의 진로 태도 성숙도는 학년, 어머니의 학력과 직업 등 일반적 특성에 따라 차이가 있었다. 즉 3학년생을 제외하고 학년이 높은 경우, 어머니가 학력이 높은 경우, 어머니가 직업이 있는 경우 진로 태도 성숙도가 높았다. 셋째, 간호대학생의 자아 존중감, 전공 선택 확신, 비판적 사고 성향은 진로 태도 성숙도에 영향을 미치는 변인이었다. 즉 간호대학생의 자아 존중감이 높을수록, 전공 선택에 대한 확신이 높을수록, 비판적으로 사고하는 성향이 높을수록 진로 태도 성숙도가 높았다.

This study was performed to investigate the career attitude maturity of university students, and find out factors affecting career attitude maturity in them. The subjects consisted of 532 students from four departments of nursing in four universities. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires which were constructed to include career attitude maturity scale, self-esteem scale, major choice certainty scale, and critical thinking dispositions scale. The data were analyzed by the SPSS program. The results of this study were as follows. First, the career attitude maturity of university students positively correlated self-esteem, major choice certainty, and critical thinking dispositions of them. Second, there were significant differences in career attitude maturity of university students according to grade, and mother`s educational level and occupation. Third, significant predictors influencing career attitude maturity of university students were self-esteem, major choice certainty, and critical thinking dispositions of them. As a results, self-esteem, major choice certainty, and critical thinking dispositions had effects on career attitude maturity.
